Looking at XAUSD my thoughts on the price of Gold will sell to 1936 then will buy to reach the 1950s and will create sells.

The 4-hour chart of XAUUSD shows that the price has been in a bullish trend. The price is currently trading near the all-time high of 1949. According to the Elliott Wave Theory, the current rally is part of a larger five-wave impulse which began at the near mid of the month. Wave (1)(2) is complete, with wave (3) currently in progress. Wave (3) could push the price even higher or even a new high till any of this price 1949, 1956, 1967. Wave (4) will likely take the price back down to a lower level. Finally, wave (5) should establish a new high and push the price even higher.

ADP NFP has missed yesterday, do you think tomorrow NFP report would miss as well ? This might push gold up.

Breakout or not to breakout - that is the question

1-The XAU/USD is testing the resistance of the bearish channel.

2-There is also resistance at 1950: double rejection - Wednesday and Thursday.

3-The medium-term momentum is bearish.

4- There is no RSI bullish divergence.

Conclusion: Gold would likely drop to 1900!
