Let me summarize. For example: I wait for London to open, I wait for the first M30 candle to close. I draw a line from the high to the low of the candle marking the middle, 50%. I wait for the 50% breakout or pullback and go in the same direction. Is it right?

You wait for the breakout, then pull back in 5 mins then order in direction of breakout.

Its simply a.standard deviation of .3. It works for me. .3, .6, .9 to 1.8 for a 5 rr.

You can use what fits your needs and adjust based on the spread. Like I have very tight spreads with a razor account. Or use .4 or .5 if the spread is wider

Like my 15m range daily bias is king. It needs to be done, then the support and resistance before the news event. Then 30 mins must pass before you find an entry.

Looking at 8 to 830 range and the price action after. As we also placed a support and resistance. It was hard to put a trade because it will be a reversal and not a breakout

30m bar, price broke thru, using vwap, at base 2pm, we observe our entry where price bounces on the vwap and as the slope goes down we hold. Stop loss above the green.

Vwap helps confirm our decision. And allows us to exit earlier when signs change

A simple update on this is on red news, if for example, 9am, the 30m bar of 830am is key and the 5m breach of which for the next 45 mins (3 15m bars) will show it's bias.

When to enter?

Wait atleast 15m from news release then see an entry based on the 30m breach.

Note sometimes pa will go against the red news. And when that happens when the 30m breach 15 says the opposing direction. It can still work out, but i don't take those trades.
