EURUSD - On the daily chart, we note that today’s candle has a long upper wick and can be classified as a downward pin bar and at the same time as an engulfing candle, forming a bearish engulfing. The MACD oscillator has entered a downward phase and a bearish divergence has appeared. https://comparic.com/eurusd-return-to-parity/

The EURUSD pair from the beginning of 2021 was moving in a downtrend. After a decline of more than 2,800 pips, the pair reached 0.9530, setting a 2022 low on 28 September. From that day onwards, the EURUSD started to grow.
EURUSD - continuation of the increases

EURUSD - the pair has been in an uptrend for 3 months, successive bullish engulfings signal a continuation of the trend
On the daily chart we notice a series of bullish engulfings marked by red rectangles, which appeared in corrections and signalled the continuation of the increases. Last Friday, after the publication of good data from the US labour market - NFP (non-farm payrolls), the pair again gained in value, and the daily candle once again formed a bullish engulfing formation.
Today there was a breakout from the formation and the price continues to rise. MACD is entering an upward phase. The likely target may be the supply zone starting at 1.0730, and its upper limit is the support and resistance level at 1.0785. When planning a long position, we must take into account a possible correction of today's growth and a return to the maximum of the bullish engulfing formation, where our stoploss should be located.
US inflation - 12 January, 14:30


Thursday sees an important event on the economic calendar - we will know the level of inflation in December (US). Inflation has been falling steadily since June 2022, giving hope for a more dovish stance from the Fed. If it turns out that this time too the readings will be better than expected - this could be another upward impulse for EURUSD.

The last week of January which is also the first week of February has begun. It is a week rich in events in the economic calendar. The most important of these will certainly include the Fed’s decisions (1.02 at 19:00 GMT), and Thursday’s ECB and BoE decisions, which will be announced during the London session. Last Friday 3 FEB, we learned the number of new non-farm jobs in the US. The second data release of the year surprised the market, with the data beating expectations by 332k to 517k.The EURUSD pair fell by 150p after the NFP publication , GBPUSD by 215. USDCHF – a chance for a correction in upswing channel
From the beginning of November 2022 until the end of January this year, the USDCHF – USD – swiss franc pair moved in a downward trend. Initially, we recorded sharp declines but since mid-November the price has been falling less intensively, forming a downward channel ( blue dashed lines) of a height of about 300p.In mid-February there was an upward breakout from this channel and the price formed an upward channel (red dashed lines). Currently, the price is about halfway up the channel with a downward trend towards its support. #GBPJPY - on the levels from 2013-2016 - time for a correction?
The GBPJPY pair is one of the more volatile ones and is said to be a favourite speculative instrument traded by large hedge funds or banks. The weekly chart indicates the possibility of a downward correction. The price has reached a strong support and resistance (S/R) level. EURUSD H4 - On the H4 chart, we can notice an inverted H&S formation. The price overcame the neckline today. If it stays above by the end of the day it could be a signal for further increases.
