The atm low is 0845.. PA is in the shadow of 0827/35.. If it closes now, and today above 0898. That may be the bounce start.

pa looks to be consolidating below QPP 0878, but still above 0827 and 0835. A violet move may be coming. The first move can be a head fake. I do think pa will fall. But it may rise before. Both directions can be violent
In a violent up move. 1.0898 is less than 100 pips. I dont think that is enough. And if its bullish, it would still be higher. 0951. was the last one.. It may be better.
If shorting, after the violent rise. You want pa to settle below 0898 and so forth.. Starting with -0951 0942

News call it a Category 4 hurricane

Heavy, irreparable damage and near-complete destruction of gas station canopies and other wide span overhang type structures are common. Mobile and manufactured homes are often flattened. Most trees, except for the hardiest, are uprooted or snapped, isolating many areas. These storms cause extensive beach erosion, while terrain may be flooded far inland. Total and long-lived electrical and water losses are to be expected, possibly for many weeks.

The South is used to hurricanes. The tree roots here help withstand topple. The weaker trees unable withstand saturated soil. get culled. This happens periodically here. Southern Cali, Northern Mexico may have a high % of fallen trees take out power lines. Basically here most of all power lines were replaced. We are mostly flat. It still took months for some to get power. Cali may have more tree damage than we had. Replacing 24000 poles is a small state like Louisiana took may months. There was not enough in the countries manufactures inventory. Cali will likely have a like problem. More down trees will mean replacing more poles. Cali trees have not been hurricane culled in more than 80 years. Those tress often end up in streams. Adding to the horizontal water pressure on culverts, bridges and roads. Add to the trees uprooting hillsides. If was in the path. i would GTFO. Inability to flush a toilet. When your tap is out of water, and public sewer pumps are down is overrated. After Cali it will do damage to other states grid. Cali gets a lot of wind. Wind with water is a different animal.

I would not go to a local hotel or a family member etc. When a toilet dont flush. That makes bad room mates.

Water will come and flood! i'll be honest and say that never thought of horizontal water pressure before in an event, even due i read physics. Interesting to think about all the cascade of effects that will come. Is this somehow related to the catastrophe in Hawaii, same storm?
Can see the eye of the storm already has alot of rain in it:

Damns have relive gates for a reason. Even damns could have problems if trees plug the relief gates. Damn are made for the horizontal pressure. Most bridges are not strong enough to be damns. During debris buildup, bridges can be damns. If there was a major earthquake. That sent trees into the Colorado North of Hover Damn. It may have problems. Nothing is 100%

I remember Las Vegas got one inch of rain years ago. It was a major event for them. They are inline of this rain event. It may be very bad for them

Seems the hurricane hasn’t hit yet.
Alot of market upset possible this week, potential announcement by BRICS for goldbacked currency and Jackson symposium. Wonder where the dollar might go, stocks seem set to rebound.

Edit: Seems the hurricane dissipated.

The rain has to go somewhere. My bet is, gravity will take it to the ground. My bet is, it will run downhill to the lower areas. Lots of flooding in those areas. Once the ground is saturated. The lower windspeed will do more damage than usual. More trees will fall. Lots of power losses. Lots of washed out roads. Water runs off hills. A few inches of rain can be 20 foot+ deep when collected in lower areas. Lots of areas isolated by washed out roads. I may be wrong.
It was expected to weaken. But the rain is still there. Flooding is the killer

Week pp at 0889. week average range 175 pips. If 0889 managed to hold this week. 1.0715 may be lower week range. 1.0827 35 is still not tested. If its tested and support holds. 175 pip WAR may be 1.10xx.
Another week PP is 1.0904, its near 1.0898. This one may be better.

Trying a tight stop short 0898/0904. Since pa never went to 0827/35 yet. It went close. I hope, I didnt miss the bounce entry Friday. I refuse to chase. I need it to settle back below 0898 after.
If it dont settle back below 0898.. I expect more rise. Next shot with residual may be 0951.9
