The dollar is positively correlated with the price of oil because global oil transactions are done in $USD. As the demand for oil is currently increasing, the dollar is bullish. Monetary policy is still restrictive. The road to reducing inflation probably continues with a new increase in the federal interest rate in September. Then follows a soft landing, which means the gradual reduction of the federal interest rate and the depreciation of the dollar. EURUSD decreases while the dollar is optimistic and increases when the dollar is pessimistic.

The USD can become more valuable relative to the rest of the world in two ways: when the amount of currency units available on the world market is reduced (when the Fed raises interest rates and causes a reduction in spending) or by an increase in demand for that currency.

I will explain my reasoning and apologize if I am wrong about something.
Gold and oil are the most liquid goods, but also the most volatile. So we have to use charts on longer terms (weeks, months, days) to eliminate the high volatility found in small charts. It is known that an economic growth has a vital need for oil and thus the demand for oil increases. The price of the eur/usd currency pair moves after the economic growth started. This happens because most of the reported economic data are delayed economic indicators (unemployment, GDP...) and are reflected in the price of the currency pair with a delay due to this and the dynamics of the stock market. From the graphs attached to this comment, I notice that first the oil price increases and after a while the eur/usd currency pair decreases. This means that it is not a perfect oil/USD price correlation. But what is perfect in this world? The USA is the largest oil producer/processor/consumer and also imports over 65% of Canadian oil. The matching (correlation) of the price of oil with economic growth gives us a first indication in which direction the US economy is going. Of course, like the other economic indicators, they reflect step by step the results of the economy and implicitly the USD exchange rate.
I have only presented a simple point of view.
