Lets say we are trying to determine which past Cycle we are running against on a particular instrument. Gann would look back and see that there are say three Tops into late August. The first Top could be on the 18th August 2013 - the second Top on the 21st August 2015 - and the third Top on the 25th August 2020 so past history shows Main Tops into late August but spread across a six or seven day window. Identifying and understanding the correct beginning point is the key as mentioned by Gann but sometimes it can be a little tricky when two of those past dates have strong interlinking connections against two current dates so the outcome is having two potential Top points sometimes a week apart where a Top is expected to come in. As an example the 2013 August Top could be connected to yhe 17th August 2023 with two clear points of connection and a similar set of causes so that could be considered an important point and then we have the August 2015 Cycle which is connected to the 22nd August 2023 in a similar fashion with a set of benefic aspects so we are presented with two interconnecting dates a week apart with similar causes which is where the difficulty lies in trying to determine which point or set of causes is more closely linked or connected to past dates. Any advice appreciated.

Hi Grant,

I have been focussed on 1 week time frames and more recently daily predictive cycles using 30 min data on the EURUSD exclusively. The main idea is a statistical analysis of the strongest cycles that repeat over a period of time. Most recently, I have been including a the just completed week's turning points to see if that improves accuracy. Still a work in progress after 8 years of posts here on this forum. Astronomical cycles are another aspect of the same phenomenon.

How can I learn this?
I have created this AstroGraph for Gold in 2015. It seems still working in 2023. 86% Correlation .. Not bad.
