I don't understand how you can say price will continue up, we've made a higher low, all higher timeframes point towards price going down

Was there a particular reason for price fall down for the second half of June 2023?
I understand DXY is a good correlation however not in this case.

nobody knows, but what would push gold back up to all time highs? Look at what proceded the triple top. Covid, Ukraine invasion and US banks collapsing. It stands to reason that price isn't going back there without a major event to drive it.

Up from here only has 2 driving factors. USD weakness, it is weak and that's what's causing these moves up, it's not demand for gold. The other is a recession on the horizon. Looks like a recession will hit lots of countries in 6 to 12 months.

Other than that, history and fundamentals show little reason for gold to be going up as markets are getting back to normal and there are so many high yielding assets right now.

I agree with this. Could go up a bit on Monday, to 1960 or 1962, and then down, possibly making a double top on daily.

I am a technical analyst, not more care about fundamentals, whenever there likely something happen to accommodate, small to large, anywhere in the world may happen , sooner or latter ! Last months down movement was a top failure behaviour, likely more correction to for more bull next. From now top running monthly 3rd candle, likely up, may even 4rth and may down 4 to 5th possibly if can actually correct!
Anyway usdx broken its support, bear continued in very strong hand, below 100 now and may continue fall alarmingly without much correction.

Hello all! I hope all are enjoying their weekend. So.... Here are some important updates that I notice after update my charts......
1. 1962-1963 area is a strong resistance zone because now 3 Giants(Weekly/Monthly, Daily and 4H Resistance) gathered in this zone for hold the Bulls door of upward way so I am expecting a retracement toward news key levels 1944,1938,1932 and 1924 and more possible.This is a retracement swing so more sideways move than trendy move can be expected so scalping by small target and quick profit booking become better option in this situation. Any key level can reverse the price so all those must be in the mind.
2. Daily TF has not clear it's stand till now.....Daily is targeting bunch of liquidity above 1968 to1975 area .....so all bears must be careful. If after Monday close daily candle HIGH stays below Friday's Daily candle HIGH then this retracement move can be confirmed. It become a possibility also that price can have a sudden run above 1968 and then pull back below 1963 area again because after about 2 days of sideways mode a bunch of buy stops and SLs have been combined above 1963 and may be possible that market participants attack above to out the involved sellers and execute those buy stops to market order. So we have to watch Monday candle's high for the more clear picture.If Monday's daily candle High break the Friday's Candle High then the bulls will be continue move upward to target above liquidity and if it stay below then the retracement is confirmed till below key levels.
