How to Become Emotionless

It might take some time for you to learn self control but make sure that you try doing it because that’s what can keep you going in your trading career. Demo accounts can do wonders if used properly. They don’t just make you practice but also make you understand that trading is all about calculations and facts. If you want to ace your trading career, you have to perform analysis and keep learning.

Trading without emotion requires discipline and practice. To accomplish this, traders should have a well-defined trading plan, stick to it, and avoid making emotional decisions. TBH, it is nearly impossible to become emotionless. One must try to keep their emotions in check, thou there is no need to become emotionless.

I guess the question is not to be emotionless but to control our emotions. I totally agree that meditation can help us become more stoic. But to be 100% objective with no emotions involved, try automating your trading with EA. Since it just uses pre-defined rules and algorithms to execute trades automatically. It’s a matter of evaluating the performance and adjusting accordingly.

Emotions are the natural part of being and one can never get emotionless. For me, it is about knowing what is going on. Know ourselves and know the opponents. Know the market will be going where. Believe in our strategy and method. All lead to confidence and with negative emotion.

Unfortunately, realising that you may be wrong is the most difficult thing for traders. At least I judge according to my experience of trading on the market.
It's very difficult to admit that you've made a mistake even if you see the result in front of eyes, our brain just doesn't operate this way.
It will do everything to justify you and make you feel you were correct, but just something went wrong.

I also used to think that meditation does not work, but when I found a person who helped me to use it correctly, my anxiety and stress went away, I began to act more measured and coolly in our sphere, in fact, even in terms of sleep it helps, I advise you to try it for everyone who can not find a solution in this or that problem.

You can become emotionless through tons of experience. The more you trade the easier you take losses. Over time you will start perceiving indifferently the trading situations that recently frightened you.

It's difficult. We are taught from childhood to be kind.

Some measures gained by my own experiences to control yr emotions as follows:
1-Trading with certain plan, risk management (clear price; date to in/ out the positions)
2-Taking the meditation everyday; doing exercise to maintain yr strong mental status.
3-Don't look back the past; a new order with a new price is a new investment event at the not better price that you t/p.

You don't. Emotion is intuition. You verify it with your strategy.
