i would suggest you go back 6-8wks and then compare price action with the cycles jnevins posted. Backtest Backtest Backtest then you will be much further ahead
Then you will have a clearer understanding of the cycles and you can develop a trading plan from there

It comes down to the study of cycles. Astrology is another way of expressing time and the cyclical nature of time and events. Gann summed it up with his Law of Vibration. I use Timing Solution software, which is a more precise way of finding cycles more accurately for any time frame. Cycles only are able to predict turning points, not price targets.

Hi Jerry- which data provider do you use to run your intraday chart? I used to use eSignal to run real-time data. But I don't anymore. I looked in TimingSolution User Area and found no other live data providers to be used. I believe there's a currencyloader indicator that I once used to pull data from MT4 and could not find it too. Thanks for your help.

Hi Uncle Pips,

I use MT4 data... I haven't had any luck with the currency loader script so I just save whatever time frame I am interested in, (usually 30 min) and export it to the Time Set folder and take it from there. I have my MT4 charts set to 10,000 bars, so that's what I import into Timing Solution.
