Yep... It's the pair that keeps on taking.... Short at 175 with large DD... All you can do is hedge on the longs to cover the SWAP and wash out some of the DD... All without increasing the margin requirement... Painful...

I was Shorting this pair from 174 every hundred pips. Now, I am waiting on 180.000. I will Short every 500 pips from now, so next Short is on 185.000, 190.000 and so on. It's only a matter of time when retracement will come. Still, there is too much people Shorting GBP/JPY. Client Sentiment suggests there is still 80% of traders Short on GBP/JPY, which is free money for the banks and will keep being free money until people give up. Once people give up (unfortunately, we don't know when this will happen), then big retracement will come. Either naturally or via intervention by Japan. Good thing for people that are Short is that USD/JPY just broke the most important Resistance and this definitely caught Japan's attention. From now on every day matters. Intervention can happen anytime during the day. It happened during London once and another time after London close. Also, don't forget about those fast jabs by BoJ when they drop the price by 100 pips in a second. These are warnings preluding intervention. At least that's what happened before. Keep calm and watch out!

Seriously? When you start to buy it, that's when, really, please post when that happens, I want to know!

I will only start buying once Japan states that Yen is becoming too strong just as it did during financial crisis. That's when.

It does make sense that banks are killing traders that are currently Short, because they know what will come next. How far will they go depends on how long majority of traders will remain Short. We'll see.. even though I expect further depreciation of Yen in the near future I will not Sell Yen. Now, I wait and am expecting a response from Japan, soon.

we are here to gather pips not make or tell stories or say what conspiracy theories we believe in. so the best thing to do it to trade what you see on the charts. you can tell all the yen stories after the market closes or when your tp hits. okay ? good day

Which part of my post do you consider to be a conspiracy theory? You think you and I move the market or do you think HSBC, J.P. Morgan and Citi are moving the price? I always post my trades here with SL and usually with TP and explain the thought-process. NZD/CAD, what do you see on the chart? Tell me what I should do, should I go Long or Short?

The British pound Japanese yen on the 4-hour chart is trading in a normal trend, and the price is above the Ichimoku cloud, which causes alarm for the incoming momentum. The Stochastic indicator is moving towards the resistance limit. You can safely connect a long panel. At the last trading session, the movement to the north resumed and at the moment the first resistance level is being traded at the price of 175.30. If the usual momentum is observed, the price is expected to consolidate above the resistance level of 175.94, and the break of the level of diseases to a new wave of growth in pairs and continuation of the movement at the northern resistance level above the resistance line of approximately 177.24. Alternatively, the price could reverse and start to decline to retest support at 172.94. Before making a decision, be sure to take into account international market preferences and trends, do not trade against it.

With the current interest rate differential, there is no merit in buying Japanese yen.
There is no value in the Japanese yen, which has not had a salary increase in 30 years.

silly boj thinks that i can control yen pairs by buying yen like mad. this is just primitive thinking. how can a single entity control all the traders trading yen pairs around the world. look at chf/jpy it a few pips from all time highs, usd/jpy is stuck on its highs. boj should find other ways to supports its currency and not think it can win against millions of traders. every time they try to intervene the market just shrugs them off.

GBP/JPY (4H): the price is now consolidating at the descending trend line, forming a lower high.
If the local support level is broken, then we may see a long-term downward movement
