Hello guys,
I know this system and have been using it for a few years, but with some ups and downs. We can effectively have many consecutive wins. Several days (or weeks) without losses. The problem is when a loss occurs that can eat up a lot of those profits. Losses can be big, as it is not easy to have a balanced/correct stop loss strategy on such a strong asset and with such sudden movements at the opening of NY.
If you have any useful tips for TP and SL setup, please let me know.

I know im late to this, but I have done some basic quantitative analysis on the US30. Ill share the results, im sure this will be useful for those who are developing/trading this strategy. I know i find it useful.
This is for the daily timeframe. Measuring candle size as high to low
Again daily timeframe. Measuring candle size as open to close.
.... What would the probability be of price reaching x times the ADR?
Also, if the previous high/low is broken, we have a 70% chance of the current close closing higher/lower than the previous close. This patterns has the highest percentages on the stock indices. Which may seem obvious, but i figured ill put it out there. 
New day new chances! I have managed to get the probabilities of the daily us30 candles being bigger than x times ATR(14).
Measured high to low.
Measured open to close.
I think I've showed clearly where (one of the) edge is, I'm about to explore some risk management and entry options. I'd hope to see some ideas or discussion about how we can expose the gold that was found by OP.

is anybody using this strategy still? Does it still work? If so, have you used the same sl and tp for the two methods as before?
