Marco,

what is your success rate with your modified set up? Wins vs losses? Average pips gained? Also what time do you trade?

Thanks,

B.

Bags..

53wins
21 losses

Average pips per win=14

Usually trade from 2:00 a.m. EST - 5:00 a.m. EST and from 8:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.

Actually would have better winning percentage, but let a few turn into losses out of greed.

Never allow myself to take more than 15 pip loss.

Usually trade 2-3 regular size lots.

Don't trade news and watch entries close to pivots and Vegas Tunnels.

Also buy pullbacks a la Raschke's Holy Grail bear and bull flags off initial moves when possible after 5/12 crosses.

What is the final system now????? Can anyone help me here

Thanks

Hi Bago, was wondering if you'll consider doing a video tutorial on how you use your system, what to observe to take trade and when to exit, and what's the "final" system. I noticed some improvements to your system halfway through the 100plus pages.

Would certainly help us newbies out there.

thanks.

FtraderX,

You must be new to this thread.... Everytime someone new comes here they pick apart the first post. It's getting old! Get over it, learn the system and see if it works for you. If not find one that does.

Thanks,

B.

Yes I am new to this thread. And you get picked apart on the first opening post because your claim to the best system to date and 85% accurate are foolish comments.

My only reason for posting here was to pick you apart. If you don't want to be picked, don't make obviously ignorant claims.

I won't be trudging through the rest of the thread so don't bother yourself, I'll be moving along.

People need to try system before they critisize! Anyway, I have tried, and with great success, the following change in indicator setup.

  1. stochs at 8,5,3
  2. 5ema
  3. 8sma open

Very close to the same signals, this just seems to get you in a little sooner. Or, just use the 5/8 cross as added confermation.

I agree with MarcoW.........Great system, not much you can do to it!!
IT STANDS ON ITS OWN MERIT!

One more thing........The 5/8 cross also gives a good exit as well. I close on either a stochs cross up, crossing the 25% line, or, down, crossing the 75% line. Or, just a 5/8 cross. Or, a 5/8 cross with a stochs cross. Which you choose depends on your risk tolerance.

FtraderX,

Sounds like you need to get a life! A girlfriend? Or by the sounds of you.... a boyfriend? :

Chrisbedo,

I like your use of stochs! I'm very into using them in my trading lately. Which time frame are you looking at and trading from? Also, are you using RSI at all?

Thanks,

B.

Attention:

With a HUGE THANKS to CHRISBEDO, for opening my eyes to combine 2 systems I have been using seperately but never thought of using together until his post.

I have been heavily involved in trading with Stochastics lately with very inconsistant results. However in my trading with stochs I have found many effective ways and settings to use them.

With that said, I am going to ditch the 21 RSI, or maybe put it to the side for now and use 3 settings of Stochastics to take trades from. I have done some research on the 1hr and 30 min charts and the results are nothing less than AMAZING! I have not been this excited about trading since I first began trading my original system. I will test and research this for a week and then release it here for all to benefit from and maybe even improve.

So thank you all for your support. I think you will all love what I have in store for you!!!!!

I'm not that high tech to do a video/voice presentation. I dont even have Power Point!!!

I will post the new system when I have time to explain it correctly with some nice screen shots. Possibly tonight.... we'll see.

You guys will like it.

Looking forward to your latest method. Everyone of your previous systems are more successful than not. I'm going to try Chris's settings - every little bit helps. Thanks.

Hey guys,

I just wanted to update you guys on a new development that took me by surprise!

As I was pouring through charts backtesting the new system, I stumbled upon something. Just messing with old indicators, I found one that gels with my latest system and really puts it over the top!

I cant believe how this looks on the charts! I only hope it doesn't change while trading live. We all know how different a system can look live VS. looking at the past!

Anyway, I'm psyched!!!! I need some help on programming an alert. Audibe, on a previous indicator. I will post it here and hopefully someone can add a LOUD @ ANNOYING audible alert to wake us up previous to a potential move.

After the alert gets programmed, I will reveal this new system after 3 days of live tests to make sure it is consistant in real time.

If this looks as good live as it does on past charts....

Hi,

Just tried the indicator attached, I think the colours (dots) are wrong! the red should indicate down while the blue up...easy to change!! are you using this with your MA's or Sochs?
