Hi guys I'm looking for a regulated broker offering high leverage (1:500) and low spreads (like IC Markets) to trade with a scalper EA. Unfortunately I live in Italy, where IC Markets offers max 1:30 leverage. Can you recommend a good alternative ? Thanks.

XM Global give 888:1 and lower spread with zero commissions

Their spread is whacky, so if you have a spread filter on your system, you can wait for spread to be low until you open your order

Sorry, I forgot one thing - I use MT4 and MT5 there but MT5 consistently has the best execution and the most ticks. I am sure they b-book everything.
Hope that helps!

I trade with 1:200 leverage.
For beginner traders 1:500 leverage would be better.

What are they deposit/withdrwal methods?
I saw what they have on their website but I want to know specifically if they:
- accept SEPA bank transfer
- EU based credit cards

I've had issues with other brokers who can't accept this.
Thanks

Hi everyone. I see a few references to 1:500 leverage brokers. I could go to every brokerage's website individually to answer this question but it would sure save a lot of time if anyone knows of the top of their head:

Are there any 1) Regulated brokers 2) Offering 1:500 leverage 3) That are open to US citizens

That you are aware of off the top of your head. If you know a broker that meets some of those criteria please comment which they lack. For example, I'm aware HugosWay offers 1:500 and is open to US citizens but it not regulated.

Thanks in advance. Hoping for some good feedback that saves a lot of research. Otherwise, I'll start investigating each brokerage indicated above one at a time.

Unfortunately, danizani95, unless I am mistaken, BECAUSE you like in Italy you're not going to find a regulated broker ANYWHERE that offers more than 30:1 leverage to an Italian citizen. The reason I say that is, I had an extended conversation with ICMarkets yesterday. They told me that, they are not registered in the USA and don't accept US citizens clients. However, their rep went on to say that, if they did register and were able to accept US citizens, they would be subject to CFTC rules (our governing body here) which means, although their Australian clients have access to 500:1 leverage, an US clients they took on would be subject to the same 50:1 max leverage as we have access to at any US based brokerage.

Rule might be different in Europe but I think the same principle would hold true. The problem is, if you found any, regulated brokerage offering more than 30:1 because the rules of their governing boards are different than the rules in Italy, I believe as soon as they do business with you, they are subject to European regulation and thus the 30:1 max leverage limitation you're running up against.

If you do find an exception to this, please let me know. I hope I am wrong but I think this is both your problem and mine.

Many brokers China support but I doubt they are located in China considering strict rules and limitations in financial sector there.

It has the particularity of 0 swap on shares indices commodities (not forex)

On the internete there are few and strange recensions and I don't listen to speak about it. It is really regulated. I opened a little account but if the btroker is not honest funds can disappear in one moment.

I just mentioned it, because 8 is lucky in China (I'm pretty sure), and it's just an odd leverage number.

I agree they're probs not located in China, but I assume trying to appeal to that market

I believe that it is possible for you to find a good offshore broker for yourself.

I suppose you need to look for brokers outside of EU&UK jurisdictions for example offshore or ASIC. However Au brokers will likely cap available leverage too.

ICM is good, but you can also try other better brokers like CMC or FP Markets. I use FP Markets; the leverage offered is 500:1 with spreads starting at 0.1 pips, and the commission cost per round lot is $6, which is lower when compared to ICM's $8.
