this chart is what im trading. going to hold my shorts till closes the gap at 1880..i have other more technical reasons why i picked that target besides the "real" gap and not what the market profile boys like to call gaps

I already shorted the open of the candle with the arrows and will sell up to 77 which is the close. Thing is on a daily chart better to leg in cause one doesnt really know what price the reversal will happen

so when price breaks down out of this head and shoulders the measured target is at 1800 but im not greedy ill close at 1880 and switch down in timeframe to trade the last 80 points cause price will thrash around like a fish pulled out of water and be stubborn falling all the way down to the lows

My opinion
M30, gold has established an upward structure and will probably continue to rise. 1954 is the point I am watching.

Yes I think you are right, let us wait for the NY Open
We will get at least one move prior to NY but the real question is gold going to 1989 without looking back?

This is literally the 3rd retest of this level within 2 sessions. If this doesn't supply resistance then we can see longer term structure developing. Debt ceiling is the only topic on the table for now, hardly any deep impact news this week.

ADX>30 on M30, so gold in "trend" right now.., and I am curios where is a final point for this trend(?)

I'm cancelling my short. Going to be patient and look for long. Larger time frame shows strong bull formation developing.
