Hello friend how are you this day hope u are catching them pips please i know its been long and you have helped me b4 years back i need your help again please its in respect of these two indicators used on this chart of yours i have that from the forex cabin but i dont know if you can help me with the other 2 on chart the one marking the entry point and price displayed at the top right corner i will be glad if you can help to re post the here.How has forex been treating you hope you a getting your own slice of them pips.Rgds

The markings in Magenta color are just from the MT4 drawing tools and not any indicator will do those

The price is by indicator Magnified Price TRO Mod

So first apologies. I'm not sure if it's right to post bits like this. It's only my second post on the forums. But I like the original thread and it's ideas. I played around with the idea and had some more ideas.

If I've understood this strategy right, that you're looking for a higher tf cross followed by a lower tf cross for entry, then could you swap your ma crosses for a single colour change ma? Since a change in angle from positive to negative and vise versa achieves the same as a cross but with less lag.

I've had a look at putting a colour change ema 200 and an 800 smma (less changes in colour) on the same 15min chart. So you get your 1:4 ratio as discussed in the original post. We look for a change in colour of the 800. When it does, if both 800 and 200 match you enter in the same direction. When price crosses over the 200 again, the direction will change along with the colour. You can exit here.

Effectively what's happening is you're entering when price crosses the higher tf ma and as the ema moves around a lot more and clings closer to price, when the momentum from the higher tf break runs out, inevitably the ema catches up with price for an exit close to the end of the move. You do catch some 10-20 pip losses at consolidation points where price returns to near enough the same place that it broke through. But when you catch the big moves you take 150+pips.

I had idea for take a profit. It could be set 50% x Yesterday ATR.

If today we get a signal, we can use yesterday atr for take a profit.

Its reasonable for make a money

As far as I understood a valid cross entry has always to be in direction of 200EMA.

My EA take cross entries independent of main EMA because im not perfect code to add EMA as filter. But its very slow EA we cant make money very fast because my EA 1 order for 1 pair. But its very work. If we want to use other pair we need to change the setting. Look my trade explore for watching forward test of EA. I change the trailing stop. But perfect for manual entry. Still follow EMA 200. But sometime its need patiance. This strategy not for newbie because its have weakness for consolidation market and got stopped out. I try to now for manual trading until i got feel for this strategy. We read on page 1 RR could be 1:1-1:6 but the question its not reasonable for market consolidation. If we want to objective 50% Atr could be good. We can make money 1.5:1 and 3% every day its so good if consitance.

For manual entries my suggestion to use H1 because if we use TF H4 or higher we got big drawdown. I got profit 14% but now only 4% return because i use it on H4. I use TF H1 i got 14%, and i use TF H4 i got drawdown 10% so hard. Now i back to H1, before i get feel for this strategy, i use demo.

GbpChf There is a huge resistance above D1, and one wave is lower than the other. If the upper resistance does not break through, it will form a short trend
