Trading in gold will become difficult today.
1985 area, an important resistance level in D1 and the dividing line between long and short D1 (my opinion)
H1 is experiencing an uptrend. This contradicts the analysis of the daily chart.
Add to that, the uncertainty of the NFP data.
Everything is getting confusing and interesting.

Just follow the trend.
1985/87 looks very strong resistance ( NFP impact will be there . Anything can happen)// day support comes at 1959/60\

Yes with NFP today its a lottery if number bad Gold will go to 2000. If NFP inline gold will still go up. If data v good gold will likely drop.

I am in the camp of Gold reaching 2000 today

What a day for USD yesterday. Such a broad plunge in USD vs all currencies.
Gold respected key trendline.
Yields fell sharply after failing all trendlines.
Fed speakers making the case for a pause this month.
But we MUST wait for a helpful confirmation from jobs today. A weak jobs report with weak to neutral earnings could send GOLD to 2000.

M5 needs to close below 1974.80 for it to go short. But it was mixed news... May just keep ranging.
It may retest 1968 before going up. Bit of a morning star on the H4 though...

pulled stop to 72...there may be a monthly sell sig last month but bools can thrash around and dither for a week or two and start short term rallies before the strenght of the monthly chart takes over and swats the bools away
