Daily Line Boxes v2 is not on the internet, it's right here on ForexFactory

Sharing a Template is useless if you don't have the indicator, in any case, I don't advise sharing Templates.

They never work properly due to different brokers using different prefix or suffix.

Much better to find the indicators and build the Template by yourself.

That way, you know what you have and how it works.

For EURUSD maybe of interest
- Time filter 9am - 18pm UCT
- Previous day ADR(1)>48
- ADR[1](10) > ADR[2](10)

Other potentials
-Volume
-ATR(1)>10-15 for breakout candle
-ATR(10) H1
-The interaction with previous day low / high

Looking at a few other options.

This is without looking at trade management yet

Also think Jan and potentially Dec months should not be traded.

Price potentially trying to recapture / retake low of 24 Mar 23.

However due to spread being 3 pips, price had to move 8 pips above the buy line; 3 pips above the 5 pip target line. 5 pip target met.

This is why I prefer currency pairs with the lowest spread possible, such as EURUSD depending on Broker.

Major upgrade to DHR Line Indicator to version 9:

-Addition of alerts (alert sound, email, pop up & notifcation):
a) Signal occurs when close of current bar crosses line.
Please note: This maybe too late and need to look at Ask / Bid price or close is within x pips of line. Time will tell.
Please note: If the close is on the line the trade is entered at Ask / bid line which could be 1-3 pips over the line (due to spread), and so profit (5 pip target) will be 2-4 pips.

-Addition of filters (may help or not):
a) Moving average (MA) filter based on fast MA above / below slow MA. (However there are inherent issues with MAs, a topic not for this thread).
b) ATR H1 filter to ensure ADR for the day is increasing.
c) Time filter (already added).
d) Other filters will be added in due course

As mentioned before the indicator is for educational purposes only.

2) Could you post the ATR H1 indicator? How to use this ATR H1 indicator?

4) How to place stop loss when we open order?

Some questions:

1) Do you use always as filter the DHR Strenght Meter v1 indicator with your DHR Line Indicator v9?

The strength meter is included to gauge whether the base currency or the pair has more strength. What strength value is considered of importance is up to the user. Currently I have it on the chart to see if it adds value or not. I find a difference between the two currencies of 0.2 seems reasonable.
It is not coded into the filter for signals; just a visual on the chart.

2) Could you post the ATR H1 indicator? How to use this ATR H1 indicator?

The ATR H1 visually shows how each day the range decreases and then increase as the market starts moving. Obviously we want to trade as the ATR is increasing. The DHR ATR is not needed as include in DHR Line Indicator. The less indicators, lines dots etc... on the chart, the better. The idea is a buy / sell line and good observation / interpretation of the market in question.

3) Moving Average filter is included into DHR Line Indicator v9 signal or no?

The filters are only taken into account for a signal if they are selected as true in the input tab of the indicator at the users discretion.

4) How to place stop loss when we open order?

The SL is as per the rules in post 1#, 20 pips. but is at your discretion.

Please note: Twenty pips means four 5 pip trades are required to recover one SL trade; as previously stated in the thread

I think 8am-23pm with ADR10 is better. Will try other filter on your list too

Thank you for having a look at an EA for this method.

I'm also using EA testing but realised the sleep function was interferring with the trade times leading to poor results!
Sleep is utilised to ensure only one trade a day. I'm sure there is another way.

Slow going today as waiting for news.
Price returning to area of S/R from yesterday so wary.
Price had some room to previous day high.
Used strength to confirm trade, was + 0.3 difference.
1M chart suggested beginning to be over bought so was wary.
Was looking to move SL manually to break even as price hovered around 3 pip profit mark for awhile.
