Using 3 indicators from tpost#1 I see non changing hADR lines for days in strategy tester. Is it fixable? Or real time testing only?

I will have a look if adding refresh rate to indicator helps. It is a daily indicator on a lower frame chart so may not resolve.

Hence needing auto refresh indicator on chart with DHR line indicator.

You mention the sell line moving up, that's fine, but you should also confirm that while price is moving up, and doesn't make any new low, the Buy line will remain fixed at the 50 pips in your example, and provide the level for a pending buy order, or did I miss something?

That is correct.

If pending orders with 15 minute expiry are utilised on the 15 minute time frame chart the changes in the level of the lines can be visualized as in post 2#.

Tend to trade the method manually as I want to see the price movement / action and if there are any improvements I can make / missing observations that would add value. The EA is used mainly to back test different ideas, such as incorporating currency strength etc...

EURUSD 15M. Done for today. Waited for second test of 50% ADR(10).

No trade yesterday as no strength, price was ranging in narrow band with no obvious direction of travel.

When price starts touching emas and bouncing around time not to trade. Also on 1hr chart price is between 50 & 100 ema.

EMAs are not part of the method but help to determine whether to trade or not. I don't want to start adding indicators. Less is more.
Difficult to code this in indicator.

Yes using an EA based on pending orders. It does still need some filters for trades meeting SL. Hence trading manually.

I have a list of work on indicator first as requested by others, such as refresh rate, and then will add the EA I use for testing so others can test and feedback improvements. I'm happy to share and work with others.

The method is not prefect but has merit, there are improvements to be made regarding defining trading and non-trading days in code.

Observation and back testing has shown there is potentially an advantage to only enter buy trades when price is below the daily open price and vice versa.
