DislikedWhat is buy pressure?
I can only see a large trend down on any timeframe, especially longer ones; It screams its lungs out to sell it.Ignored

DislikedRecord lows of USD/CAD need to be taken into context with the USDX. EUR/CAD and GBP/CAD are still well off their Fall-06 lows. EUR/CAD is still 1000 pips higher than levels seen last summer/fall. If EUR/CAD were to return to those levels with no rally in the USDX, then USD/CAD would be well below all-time lows.Ignored
Dislikeddude CAD has more than 100 years of history u can trace back and compare historical data.
Euro is just 10 years old, it's harder to gauge it's fair value.Ignored
DislikedI mentioned GBP/CAD as well. Still some 2000 pips above last year's low. Plenty of history in GBP/CAD.Ignored
DislikedWhat you have to remember about the cad is that its a currency strongly related to oil.. Now if you want to predict Cad's movement, just track the movement of oil, if you think oil is going to appreciate (my outlook of that would be yeah), then you should also be bullish the loonie.. Long term, cad is expected to be almost if not par with the dollar, because long term outlook on oil is that it is going to appreciate.. I think we can all agree on that.. When oil fell to about the mid 40's range, you would notice that usd/cad topped out at the time to 1.18ish range, but still maintaining its long term down trend..Ignored
DislikedWhy would you think Cad is correlated with oil prices? canada is not an oil producing country, i don't see any correlation there. Although i do agree that rise in oil prices will eat into the dollar as US is heavily reliant on it.
i won't argue anymore, both of us will speak for our position. let the market show us her decision.Ignored
