Trading the Cable swings via averages

Price's heading to D1. we can maximize our profit by scalping at lower timeframes.

There's a ABCD at H4 timeframe.

Hi Y'all I'm back.

I see the 1 hour ran to D1 and an RSI div to send it back to the EMA noting a new ABCD cannot be formed yet.

Now price has hit the 4 hour EMA I cannot determine without guessing what price is up to now.

I sit on my hands for now.

The bulls are still very strong being over a hundred pips above the daily EMA..

Maybe the price is heading for the 4 hour D target.

Sure looks good to go now...


Though as we know it can do a bit of up and downing before it gets there. The downs being potential pull backs for additional entries.

It's really worth the wait

That is OK though because we will soon get the lower time frames ABCD's

We can rest awhile on the 1 hour chart because an ABCD cannot be formed since we have no pivot to form B.

On the 1 hour the EMA is trying for the HH but price seems to be not attacking the next HH level.

I suspect a short is on its way and the hour is in a bear div.

Nope, it pushed out of div so maybe the next level is a goer.

Just looking at the daily and the EMA target there. It is huge.

A little reminder here. Don't forget the good old AB = CD

Gee the market is determined to keep the 4 hour EMA flat as a tack. Come on give us a break out.

That is what we wanted to see....

At last, it only took 4 hours.

Is this a typical wait for rate day in term of chart pattern? Or are banks bolder today?

This is a good question and I suppose the short answer is I don't know because I don't have sufficient data to say one way or the other definitively.

Now the longer answer...

What I can say is I am currently tracking the frequency of these trades and I am up to day 46.

Over this period of time there has been 26 signals (patterns) so we can see the frequency is just a tad over 1 every two days. A day to setup and a day to execute regardless of the day of the week.

Zooming out on the 1-hour chart it looks like this mess...

I am actually more inclined to look at the averages. As we can see the last high average is about to be broken so price has to be much higher than this to pull the average up thus far. We can see price itself broke the next swing high level of average and may well pull the average up to this level and price reach the next level some 50 pips above the current price (26394).

You can look at the above charts to see if there is anything of interest on a day of the week basis.
