I would think so.. unfortunately reading COT report, those hedge funds continued to buy Eur.. make me think twice..

Gold< May be in a range forming: If if sneaks back 2005.xx+ to close today. It may be bullish. Testing some 4h support 1973.5x. Its in a range zone like eu.

The last 4h held support on gold. The last 4h on the eu was above 0987. Pre news holds didnt favor usd

Larger holds invite larger players. Month wise that may be 0955 on eu. Gold 1973.5x. 4h and day closes are strong. Gold bears may need - 1973.5

Its more than a year now. Will EU close above 1.1010 this week?
Cot closed more shorts NC. NC are still 3X weighted long.

It looks to close above 1.0973.. It may be a buy there, in that area. But it would need to get past 0987. It may not. Some R may pop up at 1017 ish, 1045/46 has a better shot. 1045 may push it toward the 1.0973 area. 1073 is another possible R.

Gold 1973.5ish may find support if unable to close below. 1973.53. Brokers closes are all different. 1974 may be safer.

The week looks like a doji. If Pa ends up back below 1.0973/7, use caution longing. The week to me closing above 0973 and 89 was bullish. But if it opens below 0973, that may be another story. Last week acted a bit weird. When it crossed 1.0973, it stalled. Even with several attempts. 1.0910 held. But bulls did not run after taking 1.0973, and later 1.0988. It may be a large reward to long above those. But the risk is pa below 1.0973.
The doji is a indecision candle. It can indicate a drop at . The close above 1.0973 is usually bullish.
The close at 0989, +war (203 pips) is about 1.1192. The year algo at 1.1186. That is pretty damn close. Especially if pa goes no lower than 1.0973. Sometimes at tops/bottoms pa give 1 or 2 false signs. Before the reversal.
At one time I would had look for a top when pa lost 1.1045. That may prove to be right, and the top already in. The last 5 or 6 times a number like 1.1186/slip has been right. I have 3 yearly numbers to chose from. The oldest at 0.799x. The newest 1.1186. Second newest 1.2745. PA will go to 1.1186 or 0.7992 next. I just dont know if it will go to 1.0736 before 1.1186. 1.0961 was/is the 1/2 way mark. This year's high is the 3/4 mark to 1.1186. Off 1.0736

Bulls 2 weeks back tested the R at 1045, and failed to close above. That happens a lot on a first attempt. It happened to fail at the 3/4 mark (0736/1186). I would like to give it credit, but often its more than 1 reason to fit a puzzle. The year mid fib r1 was also there. See picture. But for whatever the reason pa stopped rising. It tested the st support at 1.0910. It bounced from it to close above the sister 1.0973. It also closed the week above 1.0988. Another thing it did was close above another number like 1045. That number being 1.0942. I know a lot of indicators have started to turn bearish. My 4h has turned bearish also. But this happens during consolidation. The indicators may be proven right. Bulls did not have enough strength to power past 1045 and hold it. Bulls were unable to push past 107x. Bulls did make a HH on the year. Bulls held several large supports. A few weeks of stall does not turn this trend. I think there is a pull to 1186/slip to still unfold. There is another higher =size one at 1.2745. 2745 is not in my scope atm. It may not be for a very long time. 0.7992 is over 20 years old. Both are just pipe dreams atm. One will become reality. Who cares? We want to know about the next 5 minutes. In this post is several places pa can change. They are rather large for a 5 min chart. The one that a close may not be required is 1.0971/73. That st may be kryptonite. Losing it can push it to 0942 (the week closed above, bullish). Another more st 1.0910, lost may indicate drop. 1.0971/73 is bulls defense early week. 1.0987 can also support. On the larger picture. The 6m Q M W made a higher close. 1.1186/slip is not so far. But i will not hold a loser. 1.0971/73 may be that point this week. 1.1045+, 1.1075+ is less than a adr. War is in the 1.1186 window. 1.1108ish may have some R.

If pa does hit 1.1186, then fall below these levels. Its probably a st top. If pa does run back below 1.0971, after being at 1.1186. Don't fight the drop. It will likey go to 1.0736/1.0694 or better. 1.0955 is probably more of a big deal than 1.0973 on a month close.

A Friday close like this would not hurt my feelings. It made one similar in late Jan. The first month of the first quarter. April is the first month of the second quarter.
A week doji followed by a HH. Followed by a large drop

This may be bs.. She looks to gap up.. It looks like it was up over 100 in the last 12 hs. That ''up." is a new HH for the year

I put some pendings at 0975. It wouldn't surprise me to got straight up to 1045. 4h R at 1056.
I turned ea on 15 min to long only. I have to remember to turn it off after 1186, or below 0970
