On H1 , waititng for price to spike for wave C on H1 (green) and wave B on Daily.(indigo)
Two possible zone for price to spike up for FOMC.

Just observe, the reaction and play safe.

yess i would buy too but don't have enough courage to take a trade pre FOMC ,the reason for buy is that we have equal highs on Daily timeframe 1.2450 the market may attack those highs and news being a catalyst

You can try to buy with small test, but make sure you go to Wee Wee first, coz when the news break, all of us will have a gall blader problemm.

(ie half an hour after data release)


Negative 25 BPS is Ultra Bullish.
Zero is Bullish.
25 BPS is Stagnation and clearing of leverage.
50 BPS is Bearish.

Pat, watch out for a possible extension in 5th wave...I'm not saying it happens, just keep it in mind. The Dollar only made AB=CD pattern

This is my newbie mapping. This is taking into consideration of tomorrow UK Official Bank Rate.

My concern is is that "C" is the cap ?. Thus if by EOD, its not broken, then it is potentially that cap.
Any constructive comments welcome.
If got luck, we can make profit, if no luck.... no trades.

Thanks Goreg.

It look reasonbly good set up.
As I look at weekly TF, it is possible this ABC pattern may be the start of Wave 3 on weekly.
As you notice on this HNS pattern, Wave 2 which is "b" has broke the low of the previous Wave 5.
(I think chart explain better than me..................)

I have to get conformation on M30 if the structure break to get into this set up.
If the structure intact, I will use your mapping, after all I'm just a newbie....

BTW, this phase is a bit tricky for newbie like me.
It is transition between distribution and reaccumulation.

As you're aware, tomorrow is UK Official Bank Rate, this is where GBP may slide under.
But before doing that, MM trying to get traders who are shorting now trapped.

Dance begin. I'm watching on H1 /M30 what formation they want display first.
Coz the first one is always the fake moves.

I will post more chart and thought process later, as price making its moves.
Writting is not my skill, thus I prefer to do it with chart mapping.
