While one may initially interpret the USD/CHF pair as experiencing ranging movement, a deeper understanding and analysis of the chart formation requires an advanced thought process and a different perspective.
By examining the underlying market conditions and factors that are influencing the currency pair, traders can gain a more nuanced understanding of its movements and potential future trends.
This level of analysis is crucial for making informed trading decisions and maximizing returns.
The chart (below) serves to illustrate my thought process when analyzing charts in real-time.
Typically, I am able to identify key support and resistance (S&R) zones without marking them on the chart, but for the benefit of new traders, I have included a marked-up version.
This chart will help others to better understand my approach to analyzing price action and how I identify potential trading opportunities based on the underlying market conditions.
To master price action, it is essential to develop a deep understanding of what the price is telling you and what it is trying to do at any given moment.
Real-time trade analysis is an invaluable tool for developing the skills necessary to become a successful trader.
In contrast, relying on hindsight analysis is a flawed approach that will not help traders to develop the necessary skills to succeed in the market.
By analyzing real-time charts and identifying key support and resistance zones, traders can gain a deeper understanding of market trends and make informed trading decisions based on current market conditions.

I don't rely solely on intuition to analyze and interpret market trends.
Instead, I use charts to gain a deeper understanding of market movements and make informed trading decisions based on these insights.
By analyzing real-time charts and identifying key support and resistance zones, I can develop a nuanced understanding of market trends and make more accurate predictions about future price movements.
This approach allows me to minimize risk and maximize returns, even in volatile market conditions.
Identifying the Break-Stop Zone (BSZ) is often considered a key indicator of smart money manipulation in the market.
Once the BSZ is identified, market makers (MM) may attempt to trap early sellers within this zone through manipulation.
In line with this approach, traders may also look for the QM level shown on the chart as the first N3 area for a potential pullback.
The QM zone appears to have failed, possibly due to the large liquidity zone associated with this setup.
To adjust the position, a second N3 initiated at the SRF zone, using an averaging up method.
Given that the price has already made a substantial move and is now at a resistance zone, it's possible that buyers are becoming exhausted, and a pullback may be imminent.
I agree with your view, while it's true that market makers may engage in manipulation to trap sellers, it's important to note that forex prices can sometimes make sudden moves in the opposite direction.
To manage risk, we may consider splitting tradse size into smaller pieces, which can help a good money management.
This approach may also provide more flexibility to adjust positions as market conditions change.
In addition to using the confluence of the QM, BSZ, and SRF in selecting a trading setup, I also consider the Wyckoff Accumulation-Base-Distribution ABC pattern as a confluence for N3.
This approach can provide additional justification for taking up a trade, as it combines multiple technical to confirm a potential setup.
