Burger Straddle Script

I was using 10 spread, got wipsawed out for a quick 20 pip loss, then just jumped in manually and made 30 pips manually.

Looks like IBFX is widening the pips more and more of late.

I was wondering, does anyone know if any posting as to how much the news release whipsaw before moving on its way? I think if anyone had putted a S/L, they would have gotten taken out from either side not unless one had a huge S/L.

It depends on your broker. UGM for example is bad for wipsawing. Unless you have HUGE distance (20+ in some cases) from quoted price on your straddle, they will get you. SOme brokers remain true and do not pull wipsaw tricks...Really the only way to keep track is to video capture the news release and have more than one broker over side by side and see what happens. You'll be amazed.

Hi Burger,

I had a [Invalid S/L or T/P] problem two days in a row. Yesterday on the EURCAD, today on the USDCAD. I set my settings and loaded the script. It looks fine on my chart. The price wasn't fluctuating during the time the chages were supposed to happen. My info is below. What could be going wrong? I have no problems with the GBPUSD.

NF broker was nightmare on CAD News

Huge slippage,

I use NF and I got filled at 1.1140 exited at 1.1163. What problem did you experience?

Please review the journal below. It seems to me taking forever long for the pending settings to change. See time gap below. I tried using a larger SL & TP, but that didn't help. What was the explaination for that?

some of my friends traded 19 lot lost huge money, and he got huge slippage.

Considering I had no problem, maybe NF were afraid by the big numbers.

On their MT4 settings didn't that have Price deviation set? This would have prevented the slippage fill, no?

This works only for market orders.
