Hi.

I would like to ask people using Bagovino Method (and profiting from it) what time frame do you use it: M30 or H1?

Thanks,

4H, 1H, 30M, 15M,
all is useful!

I look at weekly and daily charts for the overall trend and then only trade in the direction of the longer timeframe trend. I open a trade looking at 1 hr charts.

A person can make some good pips on 30 min charts but will get stopped out more often unless they use a large enough SL.

Another thing I would suggest using which I use is Vegas 1 hr tunnel. You will be able to know when price has jumped from an average to a extreme. When an extreme price gets reached, look for your crosses and voila!!

Hi all, I'm a noob and been testing this out on a 15min, with 1 hr to confirm. I also have a Bolinger chart to affirm the trending.

i noticed that on an average day, it is possible to long or short a few times, by observing the RSI line cutting the 50 mark.

E.g. this is my chart for last 24hrs or so for EUR/USD.

Everytime the EMAs cross path, and the RSI cuts above or below 50, it is almost certain that 5-10pips can be gained. Based on the last 24hrs e.g. this happened 3-5 times i.e. more than 30-40 pips a day.

My question is, how does a 1 hour or 3hour chart help in the decision making? e.g. my 1hr and 3 hr charts are all trending upwards generally, if observing the entire history.

They seem to confuse me more than anyting else, unless I'm looking at a long term trade i.e. over few days.

Any other suggestions how I may improve my observations by using another trendline etc?

Thanks for you help.

Hi Bagovino,

I'm a real noob and must say, have learnt a lot from your thread.

I've create a "mega" template, combining your latest template and adding Sniper Ergodic, Waddah Attar Explosion, Bagovino Sidewinder.

Am working on 30min charts right now (see screenshot).

Must say, it's looking pretty good. Averaging 20-30 pips a day.

I have a question though, based on your original Stoch + RSI + EMI, what do you lookout for to release a short/long?

Thanks again for the great tip.

Bago..

I don't think you can improve on this system by any substantive measure. If you start the trading day by checking where price is relative to pivots and the 1 hr Vegas tunnel, then use your criteria on the crossovers, using the 30 minute TF with 15 min for better entry, there is no reason not to make some serious money over time. Common sense will dictate not buying too near pivots or the vegas tunnel or selling, whichever the case might be. In any event, pivots and Vegas are excellent for profit taking goals short term.

So far, over last 2 months, this system has yielded about 25/30 pips per day, with occasional 60-80 home runs.

This isn't broken.. so don't try to fix it.

No need to bollox it up with anymore indicators.. if you can't make money with this as it is, something else is wrong.

Kudos on a great system!!

Marco,

How are you trading it? Which Time Frame and what indicators?

Oshioya,

Looks confusing. Can you explain a bit how you are taking signals off that template?

Thanks,

B.

Bags..

I use the 30 minute TF and drop down to 15 min for exact entry.

Indicators.. RSI, MA (8), MTF Stoch (8,3,3) FX Sniper Ergodic, MACD (3, 10, 16) and MACD (10,30,10).

When the cross comes, if 4 of the 5 indicators signal "go" I'm in.

When all 5 line up, it's usually time to "load the wagon."

With respect to the MACD's, the bars don't have to be above or below the "water line" but merely breaking above or below the signal line and heading in the direction of the momentum.

Also, install a 200 EMA and observe how price reacts when it approaches it.. the 200 MA is significant in relation to support and resistance situations.

This is not bagovino method. You don't have a single indicator setup the same as Bagovino. Bagovino method uses 5 and 12 ema crossover plus rsi 21 filter long above 50 and short below 50. Why don't you start a different thread if this system has been so good for you? And explain it in the same type of detail as others who start systems.

Hi All,

I just wanted to start a thread sharing the most successful Forex trading method to date!

I have caused alot of shake ups on other threads due to the domination of my method on their posts so I chose to start my own.

Here it goes... It's quite simple. On a 1 Hr chart, plot 5/12 EMA's. Plot RSI set at 21. When the 5/12 crosses up and the 21 RSI crosses above 50 you go long. When the 5/12 crosses down and the 21 RSI goes below 50 you short.

This method is proven to be at least 85% accurate!

I leave this thread open to any and all improvements. I thank you for your time and I hope this helps you all become more successful traders!!!

Would appreciate an explaination of this bold statement. You have a simple moving average crossover system with an RSI filter to stop some trades in choppy market. What exactly makes this "the most successful FOREX method to date " Now apparently you don't even trade this. Were you originally mistaken? Also , what does 85% accurate mean?

fttraderx..

Wow! Don't often see someone memorialize their comments in writing before carefully checking the facts like this.

Apparently you have a problem with reading comprehension or possibly have not covered all of the material with respect to Bagavino's method, but the fact remains that several of his indicators are in this setup, including the 5/12 crossover, as he instructed. Perhaps, in your zeal and ardor to proffer something intellectually stimulating, you overlooked a post or so..in any event..thanks for the sound and well thought out advice.

Here's a quote from Bagavino himself regarding some of these indicators.. please feel free to check post #1511 at your convenience..

1. Stochastics set to 8,3,3. Only trade it the direction they are in.

2. FX Snipers Ergodic CCI & Trigger. Again... Only trade in the direction it's
in.
3. Put an RSI set to 8 on your chart, and add an 8EMA in the same window on top of it... Amazing indicator. Again, trade in it's direction.

When all 3 of these indicators are going in the same direction and you have a 5/12 EMA cross, you will see the closest thing to the holy grail!!!

FtraderX,

You must be new to this thread.... Everytime someone new comes here they pick apart the first post. It's getting old! Get over it, learn the system and see if it works for you. If not find one that does.

Thanks,

B.
