EG st, it may be better to get some closes below .8822.8.. The day closing below .8825 was my reason. Its the difference between bullish/bearish to me. St 0.8822.8 is the difference.

I took the day close because it closed below .8825. It looks like the smaller time frame at .8822.8 is what's running this, It went less than 2 pips above my s/l. I didnt take the long off .8822.8.

Siting at a fib mid 0866. 0835 worked perfect yesterday. 0835 and 0825 may support some.. see chart levels. On a good usd bull day.. I would like to long 1.0710/069x.. 0700 is a bull/bear. -1.07 is likely bearish with a large close. North of 1.035 bull, /still need a larger close. A week is the largest so far.

Gator, based on the analysis by Lance Roberts, we have until (at latest) 17th of February for things to clarify dramatically based on the two trend lines he is mentioning on SPX. He is convinced we will get clarification up to 17th, because this is where those two trend lines actually touch one another closing the triangle.

Lance: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1E5VYTRwbSk

I recommend everyone here in The Swamp to take some time and listen to what Lance has to say.

Another man also gave a prediction, albeit slightly more in the future. You may know him as the man who predicted 2008 financial crisis, Michael Burry!

Michael Burry: "Inflation peaked. But it is not the last peak of this cycle. We are likely to see [the consumer price index] lower, possibly negative in 2H 2023, and the US in recession by any definition," he said in a tweet Sunday. "Fed will cut and government will stimulate. And we will have another inflation spike. It's not hard."

What's your opinion on this Gator? I'm looking forward for opinions by the people from The Swamp!
"I never follow what I say, but I always say what I follow."

the problem you have with these predictions, they are generic. Trading your own plan will give you a better chance at making money.

It hasn't tested 1.0835 from above. It may not, but it may act as support area now. It may detour similar to this once above 1.0944. {image}

6 days left in January. PA has already went beyond the average month range. Its already reached a Fib. I dont know if it will make 0944 this month. Since its already above average. It may come back to 1.0835 again. I cant say it will return to 1.0835. Its hard to hold a long here. When the average range is reached into those fibs.

Late June the week before July 4 2008. I stood at Fort Walton Beach/Panama City. I looked down the beach at all the newly constructed condos at night. In the buildings most floors had no lights on. The floors with lights had spacing between the lit condos. Only about 5% had lights. This was in the middle of summer. At the busiest time of the year. I told my brother "this will not last long". We are about to hit a economic depression. A week or so later the 2008 crash. I'm a little more aware than the average guy. Because I have lived through the housing cycles. At that time I had been investing in housing for over 20 years. I had already sold most of my holdings a little earlier. I got lucky with market timing after Katrina. I thought the market was overpriced, and sold most before late 2007. The signs for me were there in 2007. When seeing the lights off on in those condos. I knew I made the right decision. Those condos were later sold 90% off the asking price in fire sales.

Bulls may need to maintain 1.0887 today at close. If not, 1.0835/25 looks favorable. Smaller closes below 1.0887 may help a drop. 1.07 is less likely, month R1 at 1.0825. 1.0835 is still the big one. It may find support there. PA is bullish, but pa is above the average month range. I can long at support. I have no opinion, just these observations. They may cancel the other out.

long cable @ 35, al 30,

i missed a short at 1.2397

Trend is up with argument for reversals above 1.24 on higher timeframes, either we break the high or drop… I would favour shorts scratching at the surface
