When trading a $100 account with 0.01 lots or a $10,000 account with 1 lot, the risk percentage is the same in both scenarios because the lot size and account size were increased by the same factor (100).
It can be concluded that there are no significant differences in terms of liquidity when trading 1 lot of a major currency pair, regardless of the account size. Both trading 0.01 lots with a $100 account and trading 1 lot with a $10,000 account should have ample liquidity in the market.
