Potential trade setup on UC

UC potential fib + psych level setup. Watch price if it enters the shaded zone. Confirm with confluence on lower TF. Ideally a bearish candlestick pattern rejecting the psych level and fib zone.

Trade setup.

NAS100 watch for a rebound rally at Daily psych + demand zone if price dips back down into it. Look for new demand zones on lower TF or a fib extension if price dips below, breaks up above the Daily psych and comes back down to retest it.

Hey I'm enjoying the thread, thanks for that. The biggest issue I have with this type of analysis is determining which zones are the actual zones where we can expect price to return to, but it is becoming clearer. I was wondering, I have joined your telegram channel but is it set up so that we can interact with you all? AKA Ask questions? It seems like there isn't anyway to post to you in the group. Maybe you've done that by design, but I would spend a lot more time there if I could interact in some way. Anyway, keep up the good work.

Hi Virgilcain, to determine the zones you will first need to identify your psych levels from Monthly down to the 4hr, and then draw supply/demand zones on higher tf (ideally on 4hr/1hr). Then as you observe price retesting these zones try to find setups on lower tf that provide a Fibonacci retracement or a lower tf supply/demand zone that gives confluence to your trade. Watch carefully how price interacts with the psych level on lower tf. If it breaks it violently chances are its a good setup as it indicates orders were picked up. If it does not then look for other setups (ie fib retracement). Keep following the examples for more clarity.

When you say loss, did you enter short as soon as price tapped into the zone? If so, you shouldn't do that, and if you did then your SL should have at least been the high of the wick of the green candle prior to the imbalance move down (see screenshot). Also, be sure to mark your psych levels and draw all of them so you can see the bigger picture.

Trade review: UC

Price came down to re-test the daily psych level, price created an imbalance and a demand zone, broke through daily psych and came back down to retest it. Draw your fibs for extra confluence and candle close stopped just shy of the 61.8%, and wicked the daily psych and demand zone for liquidity. This is your entry. TP last high made on structure. A sweet 6.5:1 trade here.

Trade setup UJ:

UJ watch price reaction at 38 fib. Lots of wicks to the left indicates willingness to reverse from here. If it breaks above monthly psych level then look for a retest opportunity to go long. Other potential setups if it tests demand zones below.

You don't use limit orders anymore as you said in the first posts ?

I did not mention anything about using limit orders in my first post. Always look for confluence on lower TF for your entry. The only way you should use limit orders is when you identify the lower TF confluence then you can place a limit order if you’re waiting for price to dip into a lower tf demand zone within a higher TF demand zone.

I see, thanks for the screenshot. In that post I speak about identifying confluence on lower tf in order to enter, and once you do find confluence (ie lower tf S&D zone within a higher tf S&D zone, it is fine to use limit orders. Just not limit orders as soon as price retraces to the zone on higher tf. I should have made that clear sorry.
