Forex is risky becasue most come to it with hopes of getting rich quick and start overtrading or overleveraging. They usually don't learn a strategy and test it for a few months. If you take time and learn a strategy that suits your lifestyle and then trade it on a few months on a demo to get confident and see the patterns it will be much better. Also the lack of capital is big problem. Most start with under 1k account, which is a ticking time bomb. If you want to trade and make it I think you need at least 5k, better is 10k and start small with 0.01 to 0.10 lot max, to get in the market and see the patterns and all cycles. And to always sefl-develop and focus on mental strenght, because trading is not hard, problem is risk management and mental strenght to stay in trade or to close at loss etc. Once you trading becomes boring and routine then you know you are amongst that 1% that is winning.
