Try at least 1 hour daily, to start from the begening . .
there were detailed lesson on TESTER
now try using the mouse to move the white and lime horizontal lines (change ref price and TP lines) . .

Do you recommend to use -W with 111 config ?

-W with 101 is Good.
-W with 111 can it be too risky ?

Dear Al-Otaibi,
Since February 2022 that I joined FF after accidentally coming across your great thread on Millionaire EA, I have spent most of my time (literally the whole day and night!) reading and learning from your thread that has now surpassed 13000 posts. Sometimes, I have read some posts several times to understand their implications due to the complex logic behind them.
I have even started recently reading your whole thread again from the very beginning to pick up on what I may have missed on first time reading.
Despite all this, I haven't found a complete user guide or post that thoroughly explains how the TESTER works. There are, of course, bits and pieces of info scattered in several posts, but they don't explain everything about the TESTER.
For instance, I know how to use the mouse to move the white and lime horizontal lines up and down, but I can't quite 'interpret' the resulting changes and how to apply the benefit of such changes to my existing settings!
Of course, I will continue reading the posts on this subject to clear my confusion about it, but if there is a detailed lesson on TESTER I would appreciate it if you could guide me to it.
Personally, I believe the TESTER is an awesome feature of your EA that can be of great help to traders in selecting knowledgeable settings for their orders if it is properly understood.

yes, this is normal. You treat TESTER as a different expert from the Main Dashboard. They do not involve each other.
By the way, apply it to a separate chart without bothering yourselves with trading chart - since it stops trading == similar to halting trading.

Many thanks for your elaboration. Very informative and helpful. Now I have a better understanding of the TESTER.
As you have pointed out, I also believe it is a 'must-tool-to-use' for first analyzing our settings BEFORE placing any orders.
Could you give an example of how you change your position settings according to the TESTER output?
If you only drag the horizontal white (Ref Price) and lime (TP) lines to specific points of your interest, where do you decide is the best position for these lines to be and which output values from the two data boxes on the LHS of the TESTER do you use to modify your original position settings?

I fully understand your mindset and have already noted your points in the past.
So, I am not looking for an 'ideal' setting by any means!

As you have said, a certain setting (such as O=D=2) may be good and safe for today (or even only for the next 2-3 hours) but quite unjustified tomorrow when the market situation changes. Market is evolving all the time, and as such no single setting is 'ideal' in all market situations and there is effectively no 'fixed' setting for 'all seasons'. These are established facts and there's no arguing about it. So, there's no point repeating all this each time.

Right now, I have 3 demo accounts for experimentation like everyone else beside my real account (which I have also burnt several times in the past 4 years! The last time I burned my real was as recent as four weeks ago)

Every time my accounts burn, I learn something new from their results.

What I asked phu was specifically how to 'apply' the outcome of the TESTER on 'modifying' position settings before placing orders, and if he is generous and kind enough (as he has always been) to give me hints on that I would apply the results on demos before my real account. That's all.

Was this yet another 'misconception'?

Imagine, the follwoing dialogue:

phu: i want SL on BTC ...my balance is 1000 USD, I will use O=D=100, LD=3, TO=15; FL=LI=0.01 .. is it safe? CURRENT PRICE=21700 .. REF
MY LEVERAGE IS 400:1, my Broker SOL is 0%

zippedmails answer: test it in advance, use TESTER .. to know in advance your possible losses with last order executed, and what is MCP tolerance afte that (MARGIN CALL PRICE), look phu on my picture:

zippedmails: please stop .. it is a matter of debate .. but if you take it be carful that at 23925 you will lose your money, that market from current price 21700 ref must moves against yoy by almost 3200 pips!! is it good for BTC?? depend on that ay, but you must quit as soon as possible . .

I can't really tell from heart. But, based on the 1D TF chart of BTCUSD, I would say the price would either:
A) move up from its present price of 20,666 at area (1) to the next resistance level (area 2) at around 25,000, or
B) drop back to the support level (3) at around 15,500-16,000.

In either case, the price movement would be roughly around 4500-5000 pips (up or down).
So, in order to profit from either scenarios, for BL O=D=350 I would need to set TO=12 to 15
and for SL O=D=150, set TO= 30-33 approximately.

If these assumptions are correct, then I would choose O=D=350 for BOTH BL and SL resulting in fewer orders to be placed to avoid potential risks due to the market being volatile for BTC at this time.
