I don't believe in that. I;m refering strict to my opinion not saying it doesnt work.I still think I am lucky, really! But I will observe many situations.

How do you know where to TP?

Do you reduce your risk by moving your SL when price is going your way or you let the trade more room to play out?

Would be nice if you would elaborate on those issues

If you ask me, I aim for a more positive reward at least x2 but I have no expectation regarding where price will go. My first goal is to cover the position and let the price run further if later prove it was a good entry. I really don't put a fixed TP and is not a strategy, I'm just developing multiple tests based on explanations of thead starter

for example

this trade is covered, meaning I have no ideea where will got but if SL is hit I will lose 0 coz closed half and adjusted SL to cover costs
