important thing to know
our daily bias not always will work as we expect.
if stop out that mean the day bias is wrong and take a loss is not a big deal,
and MM is the key to surviv and success.

there is one for weekly too
friday beware of reversal day.

my result for this week,
today is still Be.
i gain 8% at tues and wed,
ytd was up too but no closed , and BE.
today was up too but hold and give back some , testing again and BE.
Maybe i should just take what it gv.

if one take notice on ict
he does not trade on 8.30 news for stock indices
when 9.30 new york stock exchange opens, he would monitor wait and see.

for nasdaq, there was one opportunity to short according to day bias, for about 50-60 pips after nyse opens.

extracted from my notes relating to the subject of this thread.

Market Structure - Advanced Price Action

No. 1 question to ask before sitting down in front of the chart.
what is the current market narrative?
what is it likely to be doing right now. do not care about pattern or price action.

only 2 questions:
1. is it likely to go up for liquidity stops or go down for liquidity stops, or
2. go higher to rebalance or lower to rebalance
eg. from the d1 chart. likely to run below the sellside liquidity from above fvg after rebalancing (the next chart below)
although price did not reach final target, the bias itself had already served its purpose of getting enough pips on the way down.

But the daily range will not always submit to the bullish or bearish right from opening
sometimes you have the intraday consolidation or red news events
Should the h1 long term high low be broken, then daily analysis may be wrong
therefore you need more information to study the price action

be receptive to the clue that price is giving you
if you are stubborn and keep holding onto the trade thinking that the daily range is going to keep going lower
but price turned on you

I'm trying to get my head around this ICT stuff (still a few weeks of youtubing to go ..), but cant fathom why price should be "drawn to" an imbalance.

I can see which it should be drawn to buy/sell stops (because stop orders, unlike limit order are inherently exploitable) but what is the motivation for an unscrupulous market maker to drive the price into an imbalance?
