Right click into the chart, check the colour of "Volume"...This option also changes colour of trade levels...

Change the volume colour to change the colour of order line as well. Right click on chart - properties - colours - volume

Go to view..market watch....open the chart in black NOT GREY ...!

These settings deliver the result shown, at least on my MT4 (Axitrader build 1170). However there may be additional settings that I just happen to have switched on but am unaware of.

I just had this problem last night and spent a while trying to figure it out. None of the solutions I saw fixed this issue. I finally looked at my chart settings and realized I had the volume color setting set to none. Once changed, I now see my open order line. Hope this helps anyone who may have this problem.

I have the same problem and this is how I solved it:

It is probably you opened a different chart account from what you are currently trading at.

For example, you opened a standard chart when in fact you are trading on a micro account. If that is the case, delete the standard chart and open a micro chart. Your trade levels should be there.

I had the same issue. For a bit more clarification

 

  1. I had all symbols showing. Apparently, some symbols are not for trading? When I changed the symbols available (Ctrl + U), then any symbol I right clicked and turned into a chart via the Market Watch tab had the stop loss levels on it.

    1. My symbols all had -5 after them (ie: EURUSD-5) which I think illustrates that I am paying $5 commission on them?

  2. New charts default to the black template but I right-clicked the chart and selected my personal template to change it to my preferred colors

In order for your position to show , make sure that on the chart settings colors, the volume box has a color. For example if that box has a purple color your position will show in purple.

try changing the volume option color as soon as i changed the volume color my BUY order was visible

This is an easy fix: Right click on your chart, go to properties click on the tab "Colors" place a check on grid.
If the grid appears and you do not wish to have a grid, click the "Common" tab while still in properties and uncheck grid. Problem resolved.
You can hand some traders tomorrows Wall Street Journal and they would lose

I had this challenge also - Change the color of the Volume. Right click on chart. Background black change volume to white, background white change volume to black. Hope this helps

The problem was that i used EUR/USD and i had to use EURUSD.pro. Thanks!
