DislikedSo, I've read through all 46 pages of this thread.. and not to be an ass, but I'm not quite sure why folks are still insistent on posting TA, indicators, PA, etc...to determine the directionality of the market prior to opening a hedge trade, or write long posts about "market structure" and the "correct" way of hedging and averaging. A perfect summation of how Rob successfully trades is from Rob himself (Rob's post from 2021 on the GBPUSD thread): "... MM and patience,...big bank, small lots and KISS (keep it stupidly simple)", and the success of...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Other than following Rob's trades...as I stated before, it's not about a systematic method, but rather the extreme flexibility in trading decisions when your trade size is small relative to your bank (Rob mentioned that his trade size is 0.01% of his equity). This means that you can put on multiple hedge positions across multiple different pairs, close trades with TP when desired, and hedge and/or average losing trades... all without breaking your bank. Being in the US, I can't open hedge trades in the same pair (within the same account),...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Very good advice, its a shame you have those daft hedging rules in the US...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Not seen this before and read up to pg25 before I lost the will.. is there anything else worth reading in it or does it just descend into the usual FF BS? The OP has an interesting interval which caught my eye.. 1,2,3,3,3,3 rotate. Worth a look, thanks!Ignored
Disliked{quote} I'm reading through thread and rooting for Samer1970. I hope his equity turns positive.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Well I just looked up his last post and this is his last sentence “ha h ah ah ah ha ahhahah ahahha ha ahha” Since when did reading a thread give you motion sickness? I had to get above deck for some fresh air! Good luck with it and let us know if you find any pearls of wisdomIgnored
Disliked{quote} After page 80, there's some meaningful discussion. Samer's equity did turn positive. The OP dave123 patiently waits for anything practically useful to be said on the topic.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Trade small as lots as you can, will make a world of difference to your trading, don't be in a hurry to make your millions, protect your bank, no bank no tradingIgnored
Disliked{quote} Honestly, random, think I've proved that by copying others entries, flipping coins and Wolfie use a random indicator on his computer, loads of live trades where I've traded in both directions at the same time, I trade my positions not the market, having a big bank using small lots helps, all about good money management, I can't predict for shitIgnored
Disliked{quote} yes i went live but with my main account. then i realized that the order size was too big for averaging, BUT good for hedging. so i am trading my old style but combined it with hedging what i learned here. if i would trade including averaging like i did with my demo account i would start with a 100-200 account and trade not GU, but only currencies like EG, AN or ECH. pairs of countries with similar economy and close cooperation. longterm ranging currency-pairs.Ignored
Disliked{quote}...my strategy is very ad hoc, don't use charts, never try to predict which way market is going, rely on the price average, and a lot of patience (this is where a big bank using small lots helps)...to round it up I trade my positions not the market...Ignored
DislikedI must be on the Waveskierob bandwagon, lol, but here's another gem from the GBPUSD thread (post#635,279)... {quote} I like to start posting my trades, but unfortunately my trading style is not very exciting...Ignored
