Some trends in the market are the result of underlying cycles, and some are not. Using indicators whose formulas always assume these cycles exist is like skating on thin ice: a disaster waiting to happen.
For example, a popular approach to dynamically adjust the speed (length) of classic technical indicators, such as a moving average, is to link speed with the market's dominant cycle length (DCL). This way, if the cycle length is long, then the moving average speed is automatically slowed down. Unfortunately, the DCL approach toward adjusting indicator length is problematic when the market has no real dominant cycle. During these times the DCL is estimating the length of "ghost cycles", producing meaningless values that may seriously degrade a trading system's performance.
To avoid this problem, we designed an indicator that does not presuppose the presence of market cycles. Jurik Reseach discovered, back in 1996, how fractals could readily assess the duration of market trend. The new indicator, called CFB (Composite Fractal Behavior), works well whether or not the price time series has any cycle components.



This is a cfb adaptive qqe histogram, with the cfb being used in the rsi period, with 6 different versions of rsi. The histogram is filtered by upper/lower levels.

This is the Bollinger bands squeeze using jurik moving average. The squeeze is shown when the middle line is a neutral color, and the outer bands are not filled

This is kind of a generic jurik moving average using it also for the buy/sell levels.

This is a standard error band stops using jurik instead of simple moving average to smooth the linear regression and standard error.

This is a jurik smoothed version of Mladen's version of Ehler inverse fisher transform.

I feel jurik indicators are best instrument for trading any moving average-related strategy with high accuracy. It is especially effective at spotting trend reversals early on, in contrast to the conventional Moving Average, which has a tendency to react slowly to reversals due to substantial lagging so it's really helpful for me to understand market trends better.

This is a jurik pre-smoothed and filtered Chande's Momentum oscillator using shaded discontinued signal lines(dsl). With the dsl you have a choice of either anchored dsl(second sub-window) anchored around the zero line or the more aggressive non-anchored dsl.

This is a dsl adx trend guess you can say it's using Jurik all through it, but nevertheless still almost the same as the regular version. This version has options for anchored or non-anchored dsl's.

This is an Ehlers fisher transform smoothed with Jurik. It has alerts on zero cross and or slope change.

This is a trend direction and force with bands which has many average choices with Jurik moving average included in the choices.

This is a Jurik velocity using parabolic psar, not sure how useful, but may be good for velocity exits.

Okay working on it but is there some problem with you messaging me on the forum you downloaded the indicator from, like I told the previous poster this thread is dedicated to Jurik type indicators.

This is a momentum smoothed with a choice of 59 averages and a choice of 30+ prices for its calculations. You have choices of averages for smoothing the momentum and for the bands.

This is an updated version Mladen's version of David Sepiashvili's b1 Trend quality. Has all the averages (around 70 now) and prices I have, with floating levels. Also, has the usual coloring options and mtf with alerts on whatever color option you choose.
