Seriously, I do'nt know how to trade at bullet speed according to the rules set by OP in this thread.
I'm a slow learner. My scallping position made based on H4, thus getting in and out is a bit messy.
Like trying to make a big ship to U-Turn takes a lot of energy and time...

BTW, this is EU traded from late last night.
Hope it will get to target soon, or going to kill it by LO.

well i am also a student, hedge just 8 days. helped me to enter a random hedge (LONG/SHORT at the same time) and trade with TP of 2-5 points. you make money in a sideways market without thinking.

6 minutes before ding ding and i will be trading off this 07-45 to 08-00 15 minute cbar/candle.
Hopefully it will be a short dropping down to 11466 area. saying that . i only need my 1% which which is only part of a single pip, lol

as for your example again reason for putting a pending LONG as I like to mix it up a bit trade more like ...oh what's the word oh yes random, look at all my trades I change from direct, pending, both directions, single direction, different tp's, different pairs, hedge and average at different stages

Don't really know how these questions can help but answered them anyway

If you are genuinely interested on using these tools to get you out of a hole then I suggest you go back to page one and read every post if not then this is not for you ....

One question to you my friend why do you think I trade demo ? ...many thanks in advance...

Sorry for you. I backtested strategies like that before, it always ended up +/-0 because 1 of 100 days you don't get a fill/TP and that happened to you today. 11466 area never reached. Do you keep the position?

@Waveskierrob: Thank for answering some of the questions. I like your approach to trade but I never succeeded with that approach in long term backtesting, I just mentioned it above @billytt.
Demotrading: I read before somewhere in the thread that you started it on Demo for 1 Month, am I wrong here? Anyway keep posting, I'm really interested in it, thanks!

forget backtesting. trading is a process. it only works with forward testing, because the markets always change.

When that happens to billyt he fixes the bad trade, he does it by hedging but I don’t know how because goes for a 1% target, no much room to fix it…but I m sure he knows very well his stuff, he is a very experienced trader!

Backtesting never worked very much for me, however , forwardtesting does work, that’s the reality….but another reality is that many of us have a full time job (I don’t have now |o| )which makes very difficult to reach the dream of being a good trader.. If you have time and money life is not so hard .

Hi, Re read my post plus an earlier one today.
I said my bias is long .
I said hopefully the low will break and drop to the 11466 level.... That is only wishful thinking on my part.
i trade looking for 1% of my bank, and due to compounding i get more than 1%, i started at £100 per pip now through compounding its £500 per pip.
I do hedge but only on a fail, which has been known to happen.
Just back testing isnt enough, you need to look at what happens after a fail,
Price is always going somewhere and the market makers move price, as long as you follow the market makers you will not lose.
Trade well.
