And ya I have back tested it, if it got painted it will not disappear and reappear, it would stick.

Now the problem I am facing is where should I put it on the code ( I have added an alert function for testing). like this

This would give an alert based on my understanding, correct me if I am wrong. But should I put it in "Custom indicator iteration function "? if so there is an onCaculate function that I can't remove.

So far I have put it on the " initialization function" , and it does give an alert once its attached, So I think the logic is good.

The Alarm needs to be in the OnCalculate() function, but you need to put it in some code so that it doesn't keep alarming on every tick. Look into some of the indicators in this thread that have alarms. People keep asking for alarms, so you won't have a problem with finding one. Don't be afraid to use what's already available in open source codes.

I need an MT4 EA and an MT5 EA which can remove stops at a specific time and set them (the same SLs in the same positions) back at another specific time. For example, I want the EA to remove all SLs at 4:50 p.m. New York time and set them back at 6:10 p.m. New York time. Spreads are widened during this hour, you know; so I want no SL to avoid getting stopped out during this time period. Let me know if it is feasible. Also let me know if it is too tedious to be done for free so that I can make my mind up to pay something for this.

Damn I did it!

Put it on the onCalculate function - My mt4 turned into a machine gun for a while - did some digging and added a function that will allow the alert to be only once per bar- set the shift to 1 because the indicator is lagging - added my push notification - had some problems where only the buy signal will set off- added another bar function for the sell - all is working good now.

Took 4 hours, but worth it lol.

anyone know of a simple horizontal line indicator? Example: Where I can say at 1:00 on Thursday. I want the close price in a horizontal line form. One that repeats each week. With out repainting forever (all past history shown). Thanks

Just copy your .mq4 file to MQL4\Indicators folder and refresh or restart your MT4.
File -> Open Data Folder
open MQL4\Indicators folder, paste your .mq4 file.
Now, refresh or restart your MT4.

.ex4 file should be automatically generated.

I got it to work.. Sadly it dont have a day option to select. I need a particular day. Example Monday at London open. I need it to remain the entire week. No repaint. So i can study it over years.

@BestTraderEv thank you for all your help, Sir please i need help, please this indicator i found on FF it works on my demo in good condition, but when i add to my live account it will freeze the platform, even the V3 of the same indicator is doing the same,
