I got stopped on eu.. This was the first to overshoot this far (out of 5). This was the first long I traded. I was only shorting the bounces, or little scalps. Next week a possible short .9945/slip

Today is Friday and it often happens that the current trend lasts until the close
so as to have an almost non-existent lower shadow on the daily candle ...
... but despite this I bought a small chunk of EURUSD @ 0.9710

9945 seems far away now with euro dropped under 9780 and 9736-50 does not hold.
I can only see max 9850 for now.

is 9696 means anything to you Gator?

Looking to short .9945/slip, if it has not reached .9595 first. If it has reached .9595. I will look for the opposite. .9595/96 is a big one also. But its long been dry. Commercials and non commercials should cut shorts here. They should add longs here. This area has the makings of a large bounce.

Once .9595 is hit. If the news is usd positive. Followed by a rise in the EU. That's opposite of normal. Its probably being honest. It may not slowdown for .9949 too much. The next area strong enough may be 1.0349.

Its far away. I dont suggest longing it. next week as a general rule. Its better than 50/50 to return to .9945. Next quarter 1.0349 is about 50/50. So if .9595 was to hold (remain untouched). 1.0349 would have a better shot. When .9780 was hit. It usually have a large bounce to follow. The rule of the 11.5% for stops is just my way of taking a s/l. Its not going to influence pa. I have that to save my ass.

Same considerations as above ...
and maybe this is off topic ...
but here, (USTEC) @ 11260, I have started buying pieces of nasdaq and consequently I expect / hope a minimum of retracement of the $ Index (December expiration), resulting in an increase in the value of EURUSD ... hopefully

the average long was 1.07 not long ago. The average between the 2 is 63 pips now. PA is a little over 100 pips above .9595. Something has to give soon. Average break even on those trades 1.0092. Potential for a very large bounce is coming.

The last time PA had a similar event like .9795/96 was 20016. The slip was 45 pips. The eventual bounce was 1,250 pips after. A like bounce on eu could bring 1.0349+. PA is bearish now. As it was in 2016. Check if your system for agreement. .9785-.0045 pips provides a window .9750/95 to evaluate. I'm will too long this one. Commercials and non commercials see this already.

I was looking at a 1 year chart in the above statement. I zoomed out to a 1 week here. You can see how bearish it was, You can see the bounce.
It hit 1.0507, it slipped below 45 pips. It bounced 1250 pips after. 1.0507 is like .9795/96.

1250 pips is not likely. I did not see it then. I do not see it now. Especially with the spread. When Covid hit. The spread didnt mean shit. I know because I thought it would. The eu went up. Don't get caught. Lots of time to short to 0.77 later. I have a 1200 pip pool at 1.0855. This dont mean anything unless it happens. Just keep it in the possibilities. Last time it took about 3 months to make the 1200 pips. That's about year end.

Exact I have never seen this line stay flat for so long except during the period you mention
