I think cable is on its way back up, it crossed my moving average of 34 and of 62, it has also bounced several time off the 800, I also think that the pound and euro are both weak at the moment.

Just my thoughts

This move didn't happen when the data was released, but 45 minutes later. The data wasn't particularly portentious anyways. The spike type move coincided precisely with the release of news regarding the abduction of US and foreign consultants in Iraq. The situation is deteriorating there, but up to now most of the victims have been Iraqis and US servicemen, plus mercenary contractors. Now some civilian contractors have been abducted, which is quite serious for the work of getting the oil flowing into the gas tanks of the US SUV's. I think that is part of the reason for this precipitous move, the pattern of which is characteristic of strong new data release behavior.

Let's chill-out boys!

According to my news service, it appears that maybe some loosing long-positioned oil-related hedge-funds had something to do with this dollar dip... but... THAT DOES NOT MEAN ANY REVERSAL... we should wait until next week to see market reaction...

According to my point of view.. maybe this was the correction the dollar needed just to continue with the uptrend... but only "big-boys" going to decide that... in the meanwhile... if someone lost money today... just relax and wait until tuesday to trade...
