Most of your comments seem to be OK.
However the comment that says "The spreads are accurate in trading hours like prime brokers" may not be correct.
I have accounts with 3 other brokers and the FTMO spreads are mostly wider than all of those 3 brokers.
For example, the FTMO spreads are usually double the ICMarkets spreads
And for the past few weeks, the FTMO spreads seemed to have been much wider for some pairs e.g. GBPJPY EURAUD are regularly 1 pip or more greater than ICMarkets and Blackbull Markets spreads
PRIOR to the past few weeks the FTMO spreads were smaller for those 2 pairs

Is there ever going to be a time when FTMO offers a higher GBP account to account for the change in exchange rate. The highest GBP account challenge is 140k which is only around 161k USD, compared to the 200k USD challenge. It's easier for me to just use GBP accounts since I live in the UK, but can't help but feel short changed when I see the stark difference between the two.

I hope you’ve all had a great week, welcome to today’s update. We took a brief break from posting as there we no major updates/changes and nor a lot of questions. As FTMO and the prop trading industry in general become quite well-known, we’re no longer receiving that many questions from newcomers, and we may switch to bi-weekly updates.

To mourn the sudden death of Queen Elizabeth II, there is a change in the trading hours of the following instruments:
UK100.cash instrument closed early at 11:00 pm on Friday, 16 Sep 2022. The instrument will remain closed for the whole day on Monday, 19 Sep 2022, and will reopen on Tuesday, 20 Sep 2022, at 3:00 am.
AUS200.cash instrument will open late at 10:10 am on Thursday, 22 Sep 2022.
All times are expressed in the MetaTrader server time (GMT+3/CEST+1).

Hello Profit-men, the explanation is simple. We’re just being 100% compliant with the international authorities. We have no reason or obligation to disallow Russian traders to sign up, review our services, start a Free Trial etc. We even warn those traders about the situation, although with the number of sanctions imposed, it is becoming common knowledge that sending any transactions from EU/USA to Russian Federation is mostly disallowed. Using other channels (crypto, Skrill…) could be considered as bypassing the active sanctions, which again would represent a legal threat towards our company.

Hi Brewokz, we haven’t registered any issues on our servers lately. You might have had a weak connection at the time or try removing some indicators from your chart.

Hi Feelas, as we published on our updates page, we recently adjusted the contract size on US30 from 10 to 1. The reason for that was to adjust our trading conditions to what most traders are used to as the contract size was bigger compared to most prime brokers. Especially in the current volatile market setting, traders were exposed to the risk of high sudden losses.

Hello Silverau, you might spot a slight change in spreads due to momentary settings of our Liquidity Providers which, unfortunately, we do not have control over since the change in the spreads is subjected to the current market conditions. We are currently in discussions with our LPs to make sure the spreads do not deviate from day to day.

Crypto markets down again, unscheduled!

Vitek, The spread for US100 used to be about 2 ticks (0.3-0.6 points to be precise. ieSELL 12032.0 BUY 12032.3) during late London and early US sessions. This was the case for 95% of the time for the period March 2020 - June 2022. In other words that is over two years with the Nasdaq index at about two ticks bein TRADEBLE. The spread for the US100 is now at least 8 ticks (2 points. ie SELL 12032.0; BUY 12034.0). This is over 95% of time. I will re-word the question. Other readers might wonder as well why the index spreads were widen about 4 times for late London Session.
The overnight rates for both demo and challenge can be high too (both ways).
I know my swing strategy sometimes needs more time than the 30 days to pass the challenge, but I'm concern about the swap fees if I do pass the challenge.
Sometimes I may need to carry 2-3 trades over 1 week if caught in a consolidation.

Can anyone help on the following 3 questions?
1) For Live "SWING" account, if there is any violation for trades execution during news events?
2) For Live "SWING" account, if there is any violation for trades carry over weekends?
3) Can non-Muslims apply for swap-free accounts too?
The spread of the US indices during the European session continues to be absurd. At times larger than those of the other props companies and brokers.

I just received my first profit split from FTMO, the process was fast and superb, their customer support was excellent also.

3. I'm pretty sure its no on islamic accounts i never knew they even offered them in the first place
It is my 4th payout and till now no crutial problem happend for me , I think FTMO is the best prop firm in the industry till now ...really worthy to be trusted.
I have received both my refund and profit split , very good service indeed, as a retail trader we given a good opportunity with FTMO to make profits, I would definitely look to build myself long term as a retail trader with FTMO.
