Looking at the 5 min today all the EMA's are getting squeezed together so expect a break in one direction or the other.

DislikedGot lucky on that one. Didnt see the H1 RSI divergence but was on the M5 at London Open and could see Bull support forming so jumped in there and managed +44 pips for the day. Nice one Alan. We now have a new ABCD triangle on the H1 and H1 Bull support getting tested. {image}Ignored
DislikedUnfortunately there was no hook to this trade, went to 40 pips without stoping. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Hi Alan. I am interested in how you handle the conflicting signals of bear divs in this upmove? Felt there was plenty of bear signals on the hour chart to look for shorts.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Once on the move look at the 5 min and see that the bears never crossed to find support below the EMA until the average swing target was hit. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yes in hindsight it is clear as day. But if there are the bear divs on h1 and bear divs on m5 that I want to trade short, shouldn't I expect m5 ema to be broken? Where you closed, I traded short. And then again on the next div with the 2bar test. Both at h1 zoo-points below the ema. No big losses, but I missed the opportunity to join longs cause I wasn't looking for longs. Shame.Ignored
Disliked{quote} If we are trading above the EMA then I am looking for the long signals to keep it there and asking myself what EMA swing is it trying to break. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} This gets me a little confused, since we were trading below the ema on the hour chart. Shouldn't I then look for reasons to keep it there then since we should take inference from the higher timeframe? All in well meaning of course, simply trying to understand your thoughts in a trading day.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Did you spot the RSI divergence on the Daily chart suggesting a move to the EMA {image}Ignored
