Imho Powell speech today was too much frank, and clearly support a recession period of time to fight inflation. spreading fears and anxiety on traders and people.
I heard yd the well known hawk US FED Bullard, and he was very calm, patient, not spreading fears or panic.
I guess some correction from Powell words will come into the weekend after Wall Street panic reaction.

Gone are the days when Central Bankers gave calm pills and confidence to the people/traders.
