Hmmm, this sound so interesting. So in this case can 2 variables be used in the sense that one can create a variable lets say for the old value (which is not meant to change) and another for the current slope.
What i mean is that can one have lets say 2 Lines/arrows with one representing the original non repainting value and another for the adjusted current value. This will establish the fact that an action occurred at a particular point in time but its being adjusted to fit the current reality.
Just my unprofessional thought sir.
