I am just reading to post 3000 and It seem that you changed your money management and stop loss, ... in later posts. Now, you are using risk win:lose = 2:1. I need read more fast

I don't much like to trade AB = CD's they just don't seem to pan out for me as much as the ABCD's do.

I like HD's on the hour chart then look to the 5 for a nice entry.

Regular divs are good to but the hook is always a menace. Sometimes I will just trade the hooks with the div as the stop with the idea of making 2 x the risk.

Just these three trade types can keep me happy.

Every day I am looking at timing, entry, targets and stops.

Yep pip perfect was it not.

My drawing was a little different taking the smaller of the two options.

Note the new bear div at the top...

See that bear div failed to make the EMA so the rule is it is going to make a HH well after my trading time.

I see later it eventually made an RSI div that went about 70 pips so the small stop outs would easily have been recouped. Each of the small bear divs only made about ten pips giving us time to get the stops to BE.

I see the NFP though positive it did not stop the bulls which goes to highlight we should read the charts not the news.

Below I have the 5 min chart showing the action (outside my trading time)

See how the best trade was the HOOK because this gave the us the target of the AB =CD but I have put the full trade on to show how it is done.

Study the structure in the chart below and see how we limit risk and compound profits.

Ok better clear up a few more things here. For me a scalp is just 1 pip of profit which I call break even. A hedge is a trade placed equal to the sum total of all the lots I am hedging so it is normally of far greater size than a scalp. All trades begin as scalps, it is the progression that makes the difference. A scalp may or may not turn into a trade. The money management takes care of this.. Let me assume here that everything is done wrong and the trader is trying to profit from the longs. i.e.. the Bull Divs below the EMA. 1) Is a bull div and...

What a pity today, i miss entry at bull found support point. How great the system, if we focus and analysis in care, we can achieved daily target. H1 price above ema, the same M30, M1 is exactly to take the entry. note: just before the news and we don't care at all by this system

Yep what a roller coaster of a day it was. I saw it as flat waiting for news probably...Then it spiked down failing to hit D1 and the response to that effort was to turn and hit D instead. I was out by this time however but all the signals were there for those who looked for them....

Notice how the hour itself hit its target in div to send it south again.

You appear to have done your work well on the ABCD's. Not to sure about the black backgrounds making it difficult to collect a set of paper records.

With ABCD's it is important to also recognize the C level with a line as this is where the battles are and a cross from one side to the other is a tradable event at least to the 50% levels. Also follow up by getting the stop to the C level to protect the trade from a turn in events.

Smaller time frames like the 1 min are too erratic and may only move short distances anyway causing heaps of stop outs. The 1 hour give a much smoother action indicating direction to be traded at the 5 min.

I like to start each trading session by taking a look at what the higher time frames are doing i.e. 4H, Day, Week and month.

Good job well done.

It is not really colorful, That is just the effect of laying the triangles on top of my price grid. In other words the colors mix.

Again I had the target a tad different because A was an RSI div. I keep saying I take the lesser targets

Divergence plays a big part in these trades, that is regular divs and RSI divs. If we opt for the lesser target then we won't be disappointed if it runs to the greater one for a bonus.

Just remember to always be on the correct side of the level C.

H4 divs are ok but price may go a long way against you for a couple of hours before going the correct way. This means you have to reduce your lot size to protect yourself and this resultb in a smaller profit also.

Watching this today...

Is price going to re-cross C, or is it going to cross the 50% of D1?
