PA was jerky until around 11am NY then the swings became more orderly.

Big SR at the top of todays range. I like those small losses though. After it failed you should have been looking for a reason maybe to go short

The black box on M1 is the black box on M5

The long wicks and tails across M1, M5, M15 and H1 coupled with PRICE ignoring SR made me give up

After the break out of the range, PA was smoother and more orderly in both PASR Swing and PASR Trend mode. Welcome relief from the DOW mess!

Yes , you are right, i dont't use Daily for my m5 analysis but i will add for SR, thanks for insight.

Depends how you want to trade. You dont really need to go to the daily when trading M5. I personally check the end of day candles to gauge some direction for the next day if possible. Just to have a sense of how price fits in the big picture.

PS I didnt place a single trade the last few weeks, being summer and holidays and that sort of stuff. Will resume starting on Monday from Porto

I started out with the intention of trading the 8:30am News Events but PRICE moved faster than the wheels between my ears so I chickened out.

Didn't feel good about support until the 13:15 candle closed which was at 13:30 NYSE Open. Waited for PRICE to CLOSE above the consolidation from 8:30 to 8:43 before splashing the cash. The rest is just PASR.

EURO looked good from 11:30 am NY but I was already committed to the DOW.

This strategy is very interesting but how many hours/days have I to stay in front of computer in order to
have the right setup and moving average crossing?.
Pls explain.

Hi Strat

There were no reverse price action candles at A and B. Why did you exist?
Is it because you TP was basic on predefined amount of pips.

There were no reverse price action candles at A and B. Why did you exit?

Very simple, swiftman.

"A" was the previous high - see "100%" on fibonacci while "B" was the "138.2%" fibonacci expansion plus it was after 1:00pm in NY and I had already completed my allotted trading time and was getting tired.

In addition to the valuable comments from bistolis:

On your Loss, you entered on the BUEB after the doji which was correct BUT you should have exited as soon as the next candle CLOSED as a Shooting Star which would have made you some pips, or at worst case, break even - you must be on your toes and prepared for anything when trading short time frames.

On your win, your exit would have been better than mine as I would have exited at that last bearish candle but, like bistolis remarked, you were still in the trade during the news Event. You should always go FLAT before a News Event.

Hello, thanks Strat for feedback. I'm still struggling to read BEYOND THE CANDLES, but step by step i will do it, i have PATIENCE PERSEVERATION FOCUS DISCIPLINE and PASR combined with Strat Shadow by my side.

Another lose is on EurNzd . I placed a position after the blue line was penetrated. The SL was positioned incorrectly because I had no confirmed Swing High and I had 3 chances to exit the blue rectangle. In the end, I manually closed for a smaller loss.
