I pick them and then let the CT trade them starting 1 hour and 2 minutes after the new day of my broker starts.

Thursday basket trades, manul picks and CT auto trading them.

Here is the week so far, one more day to go. All 4 days closed as winners.

I would be more than happy with that every week!

Manual picks for Thursday!

This test is using the TS2 that is under construction. It has been running for 2 days now with no breaks between days. The first day was not good so I let it run and it has made its way back. This may be one you would start at the beginning of the week and let run all week non stop and close it at the end of the week. After the initial trade entry it adds on trades even if it is going the wrong way, similar to what a grid trading system does. When it finally does go in the right direction the gains can be very big, as it is using no stop losses at this time only a take profit stop when the trade is changing. You may have to live through some draw down until it gets its act together. Here the DD the first day was -$484.03. I will start it up the beginning of next week and see what it does for a whole week non stop. Still another day to go before I shut it down.

Looks like it would have been a nice day to take trade all short accept for 5 pairs which would have been long.
To bad we can't create an indicator that can read the future. LOL

sorry if this has already been answered, but could you take us through how you pick your pairs for the basket, or if this has already been discussed, what are the relevant post/s?

After years of looking at charts you can kind of get the hang of what they may do next. LOL But then they do the opposite.

Looking at the daily of each currency can give you a good idea of the direction that currency may be going so you can pair it with another currency that is going in the opposite direction.

Also looking at the heat map in the CT can give you an idea if some pairs that have been hot are about to reverse.

Then I mainly look at the H! chart to see if it agrees with what I am thinking and base my final decision on it.

I try to trade almost all 28 pair as a basket with a Basket EL or a Basket TP point rather than trying to get the max out of each pair.

If a pair is ranging I leave it alone for that day as I start a new basket each day so will see what it looks like the the next day.

I start trading 1 hour and 2 minutes after my brokers new day starts and usually my TP will be hit within a few hours.

You may think you are leaving a lot on the table after you look at some of the charts but its always best to win each day rather than waiting to long and getting a reversal with a big draw down.

Like Kenney Rodgers says, you need to know when to hold and to fold.

Here is a basket I picked from the 60 HM late last night before I went to bed.

It is still running so I just turned on the Basket EL and will let it finish on its own..

Time to shut this basket down.
