I think Ferru got it: {quote} To avoid trendlines etc. deletion you will have to modify the mql4-file. Search for "ObjectsDeleteAll();" and delete that line or comment it out (by adding '//' to the front). Or upload the mql4-file here and someone will do it for you ...

Hello, I do not like the MT5 rectangle drawing tool. I like being able to edit all four corners of the rectangle like in MT4. Only being able to edit two corners is not proficient and makes drawing supply and demand zones a hassle. That’s one of the reasons why I won’t switch to MT5. Does anyone know how we can contact metaquotes to give them feed back to improve there platform? Also, can the community try spreading the word, so that MT5 can improve on this issue. The great thing about MT5, when you draw something on a higher time frame, it sticks to that price right down to a 1-minute bar.
On MT4, the trend line be floating off somewhere on your chart, know what I mean?
It takes a lot for me to IGNORE you, but you can try.

Shabs19, Yes! I forgot I also had an indicator on the chart. BigCandleAlert gives alert when candle reaches a certain size. https://www.mql5.com/en/market/produ...ce=Site+Search I think this might be the source of the problem. Some commenters say it removes chart objects. Is this something I can fix in MetaEditor maybe? Or remove it from charts? {quote}
If not, then find another simillar indicator or remove this one.
Always test on a blank chart first.
