Anybody elses drawings on offline chart generated by mathtrader7 ea dissapearing when you change the brick size?
Always strip things to the basic form & then build a case upwards

It hasn't happened to me but I recommend you to have two open 1m charts and in one put the EA for 5 pips charts and in the other for 10 pips for example
7 op and only 1.4 positive pips ending the day in positive but overtrading, because even in Demo I get greed when I could have taken a 2% profit from my first two trades but didn't respect the plan.
I had a streak of 10 consecutive days in the positive and I could have kept it if it were not for the desire to want to make a lot of profits in a single trade. I always see Dave keeping the risk management on him by getting in the market and getting out fast. I have to go back to basics.

i hope our friend MathTrader7, offcourse if he has enough time, to consider creating percentage of price based renko EA

it would be helpful specailly when trading indecies and crypto

try using mean renko with wicks instead of standard renko

Hi, how are you? In fact, sometimes if I'm not sure about the market trend, I use the chart you mention with 10-pip renko bars to give me a more general idea of what could happen to the price.
Even this morning to make my last entry I looked at the average renko bar chart with the STS indicator. but for making entries I prefer Math7's 5 pip renko bars, with no gap renko you can go for 5 to 20 pips in minutes.
This is all my opinion and I'm still learning. Below I leave a photo of the graph that I sometimes use to find clearer trends

8 trades today, I over traded but I didn't realize there was pending news. the problem is that 3 trades were not managed properly because they were made with a misconfigured EA
14 positive pips and we end the day with 1.2% more
I'm considering starting to use 10 pips renko candles, when I started this demo account in early July there was not as much volatility as there is now, so tomorrow I will use both charts to take some trade (5 and 10 pips)

here trades with false signals for using small renko charts and also I was a few minutes away from starting a high impact news in the EUR, after seeing how the price reacted I put a sale and it went 26 pips in favor putting the positive valance

here take advantage of the trend and volatility to increase the balance of the account a little, first operating with retracement signals and respecting support, resistance and psychological levels

Hi JaimeA, With a lot of volatility its worth increasing the brick size because with volatility comes noise which can swamp signals when using smaller bricks. 10 pips generally works well with the DAX40, on some forex pairs when the market is sluggish it can take a long time to complete a 10 pip brick!

I don't have much to say, I changed my setup a bit to avoid false entries and although at first the configuration failed, it gave me two very good entries.
The last two operations are crap. I was 22 pips in favor and overtraded in the stupidest way possible.

There is nothing left to think about over the weekend, at the beginning of July I was following my trading plan to the letter as I learned from Dave but now that I see more profits even in demo I lose control, starting Monday I will open a business diary to capture my successes and my mistakes.

i m trying to migrate synchronize the trading RenkoEA to virtual hosting plaform but it showing me to recompile the renko EA as build showing older version of EX4. Can you plz recompile the Mathtrader Renko EA 3.36 so that it can work on MetaTrader bulid 1358

Hey MathTrader7, I liked so much your indicators. I currently use the Leg Strenght indicator to check if the support or resistance is really losing strenght or not.
Very usefull.

I would like to know if it is possible to develop a function to Barrows Swing Indicator.
It is a simple push/email/sound alert when it begins to show the letter D or E or F or G on the chart.

It is a very usefull indicator when a consolidation is happening on the market.

Hi Math, I've been looking all around to see if you've created a trade EA to trade one of your non-gap renko charts. I use different parameters other than 10pips so its not working for me. Do you have one that just trades the reversal bar only without any filters? I just want to trade the reversal bar via the EA. This would be great.
