12 years ago the intraday average move was something like 200.
Which means, 12 years ago the TP/SL situation was rather different, at least as far as E/U goes.
Now its roughly 100, so the TP/SL needs to be adjusted accordingly.

I met a beautiful, smart woman.
Or rather we have known each other for 10 years.
But she took the big step a few weeks ago.
So im at her place trading now.

As you can see, 1 hour and a 20 something minutes are my longest running trade for these 6 days.
And thats the way id like to keep it.
If you are intersted you will find out which ones are wins and whiche ones are lossses.
If you dont have the interest for that, i think you should probably go do something else.

IM NOT AN INVESTOR
I listened to Larry Pesavento yesterday. And this nagging thought kept making itself known. I did not really know what it was, until today. In conjunction with this a classic sort of 3+ months investor commented on my kind of trading. This made me think about this. And what i learned is that im not an investor. I dont have an interest in having open positions from one day to another. And given that price patterns are sort of the same no matter the timeframe, i dont see why i should.

Most investors trade for years and years and after oh i dont know 10 years they can sort of look back at theyr trades and see how they did all in all. Thats not my thing. I want to and i need to be able to look back on EACH DAY instead of EACH YEAR and see sort of how i did.

I think that they way i trade is A LOT harder then investing, but the benefits are A LOT mor significant.
The most clear advantage can be understood mathematicaly: In x amount of trades, y will be succesful. But it will take x+y amount of time to be able to say anything. You see?
Also the part of skill training: In a shorter amount of time i will train myself to make good trades, rather then it taking 10 years or more.

I dont know if this makes it more clear or not.

It's good go have these epiphanies in life and brutal as it may seem I find it is often the people you're around that can be toxic to your progress. You want people who can give you real talk when you need it but also help build you up.

Thanks for the loss
When i do well for like a week with profit at the end of every day is when i start to worry.
The reason is that im not sure how i will handle the coming losses.
Because losses there will be.
So the longer my winning streaks are, the more worried i get generally speaking.
And thats why im very thankfull for some moderate losses.
That tells me im on the right track.
It tells me i can handle a bit of loss and not loose my cool.
Of course mathematicaly, i would rather have just wins.
But i know from experience thats not good psychologicaly.

If i go back and look at my statement, i can see sometimes weeks, even MONTHS with no significant losses.
And then, in ONE DAY OR TWO i loose more then i gained that whole period.
That kind of thing have made me stop trading for months.
But its SLOWLY getting better.
I am SLOWLY with the practice of many long years mitigating this.
But i am far from done.
Probably i will never be, but i will continue to improve.

Martial arts - Trading
Martial arts is the most complete, most profound, and most challenging type of training. And because of that, its also the most rewarding.
Trading is the most difficult, most challenging, type of work with the greatest potential i have ever encountered. Much harder then aerospace dynamics, quantum mechanics and philosophy. And because of that its also the most rewarding type of work i have encountered.

During my second vacation i had an epiphany during a party night when i sort of dozed off.
It was simple and effective: "Screw H1"
Meaning i should just stop looking at it.
Because thats what has got me intro trouble lately.
And by "lately" i mean the last 3-4 years or so.
So i commisioned an artwork from my friend i was with.
That is ment to remind me of just that epiphany.

In October i will trade a lot more.

The 80 million year recipe

No caffeine.
No nocotine.
No alcohol.
No other neuroactive substances.

No hanging out with dead beats, dickheads, godd-for-nothings, mediocre and bitter people.

Sleep 8+ hours.
Yoga, running, weights and martial arts every day.
Creative work like painting, music, woodworks every week.
Read and write philosphy, metaphysics, martial arts, geology and so forth.

Thats the recipe.
And i know it.
Not because other people told me so.
Not becuase i want it to be that way.
Not because it seems "cool".
But because i found it out through trial and error.
For ME thats the recipe.
I dont know for who else it might be the recipe.
For a lot of people i imagine.
But im not about to go tell them that.
I tried but they wont listen.
They have to find the recipe for themselves.
Even if its the same recipe for A LOT of people.
Even though they will argue its not for them.
And they are correct, its not for them YET.
Later it will be for them and they will have the proof.
But it might take 80 million years or so.

It took A LOT of effort to find this recipe and PROVE it.
I was in a lot of danger many, many times.
And i had to get into a lot of stupid situations och get out of them.
I had to witness blood, danger and death multiple times.
But also love, kindness and wisdom.

My goal with all this, except what i already talked about, is the future.
To try to make sure at least there is one.

Do this with multiple waves of price pattern in mind, at least 2 waves.
But 3 or 4 is normal.
Do this on M30, H1, H4 ish.

2. Place the position regarding M1 PA.
Look for the type of no SR price patterns.

3. SL and TP is BOTH thought of as complete intraday trades.
AND watch M1 PA constantly as each trade is entered.

4. Fuck the corporations.

5. Fuck the governments.

6. Fuck the (modern) judeo christian laws.
