Hi,
I have a strategy with indicators that works for US30 in the NY session when the market is way more volatile.
Now I want to find something that works in LDN session as well. I want to stick to testing since I get too lazy sometimes, and give up easily.
I found an indicator that showed promise with the strategy I developed from previous months of testing.
I won't share the indicator or my strategy rules (at least not for now), mainly because it might not work. Second, if it does work, I've spent way too much time testing to give it away easily. TradingView indicators are free for you to explore and test on your own.
In this journal, I will show the trades and all the mistakes I made. It's way easier to hold myself accountable and stick to the plan if everything is made public
Goals for this journal:
1. Make 100pips in the LDN session.
2. Stick to testing, and find something that works.
3. Strictly follow the rules and make as few mistakes as possible.
4. Add new rules to the strategy.
5. Create an EA?
Session: LDN
Daily goal: 100pips (or Break-even)
Take-profit: 50pips
Stop-loss: 50pips
Break-even: 40-45pips
To clarify, I'm using the term pips and not points just because it's used more often, and in my broker, 1pip is a $1 move.

Jun 13 - Goal achieved
The week started perfectly, but for full disclosure, as you will see, it's not very common to get in and out this fast.
Usually, it takes multiple trades to achieve the goal since the market usually waits for NY open for the direction, especially on Mondays.
Thanks to the CPI news on Friday, we are going to hell
Pips: 102,5
No. of trades: 2
Win/Loss: 2/0
Mistakes: 0
Kept an eye on NASDAQ as well, and it looks promising. I will probably test it out next week as well.
